When I came for dinner, I got into the drive through line with a couple cars ahead of me. Waited and 5 cars end up behind me waiting as well. So im stuck in line because there is only 1 way out and thats forward. I keep waiting. 20 minutes go by of me giving benefit of the doubt as to what's going on, and I finally go to the car at the speaker and ask what the hold up is. They, just as frustrated, tell me they were told the last time to wait, 15 minutes ago. So I now go to every individual car behind me and ask if theyd back out so i can leave. Im getting asked questions like I was a worker out there, which should've occurred or some form of heads up there would be an extended wait. I finally get out of line and head up front where I tug on a locked door and several people are saying they dont know how to get ahold of someone or how to get in; doordashs, customers, etc. Finally a woman comes out and says she is alone tonight. That's it. I told her at the very least people need to be let known of what's going on so people aren't getting stuck in the drive through not knowing it'll take 30 min and she said to be patient and that it wasn't her problem I was stuck in the drive through. I felt I was very patient up till I went to figure out what was happening, but also didnt appreciate how I had to handle a situation like that as if I knew already what I was getting into. I really hope they get that woman some help at that location, properly staff, but also properly train. There has to be something they can do, if they are even able to only operate with 1 worker. Very thankful there is a better location and one to have confidence down the...
Read moreI recently visited the new Popeyes on Ambassador Caffery, store #4220, and I can’t understand why they decided to install kiosks—it only adds to their already poor customer service. We tried to order a two-piece meal for my child, typically two mild legs, but the kiosk didn’t offer that option. Frustrated, we canceled the order and went to the register. As we stood there, I overheard the manager mumbling under her breath, "Not tonight." Not tonight, what? This is your job! My husband patiently waited to be acknowledged as a customer—just a simple "Good evening, how can I help you?" would have sufficed. Instead, the woman with dreads ignored us completely, acting as if we weren’t even standing there. Then, a man emerged from the back and locked the door, likely in response to whatever she had said. At that point, I walked away, unwilling to spend my money at a place where I felt like an inconvenience rather than a valued customer. This Popeyes location has the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. The addition of kiosks seems to enable the staff to avoid interacting with customers altogether. Having worked at Popeyes myself in the past, I know this is not how paying customers should be treated. I’m appalled by the horrible experience and will not be returning. Sadly, I doubt this is the first time a customer has been treated...

If not the best in the Lafayette area I live in St.Martinville Louisiana and I would drive all the way from St.Martinville to come to this exact Popeyes because the food is great, they have restored my faith in eating at Popeyes again because I gave up on Popeyes because the lack of everything was just gone out of the window the taste the the people it was just ridiculous, but I went to this Popeyes on chance one day and tried their food. I had to pull over just to enjoy my piece of chicken and I really appreciate that spending my money and getting a product that I am used to from my childhood in my younger days Chicken phenomenal the staff very courteous and polite friendly. I just really do think that they’re doing a great job at this particular Popeyes store on ambassador Caffrey in Lafayette. Once again, I would like to thank y’all for restoring my faith in eating at Popeyes because I really truly just gave up on Popeyes because The taste was gone. The biscuits were horrible at different stores and it just I just stopped. I just gave it up, but this Popeyes a number one good job keep up the good...
