Five Guys — Restaurant in Lafayette

Burger was decent. Fries were some of the most stale I’ve ever had. My wife and I went there on Lundi Gras, the place was slow and there were plenty of workers just standing around. There were 5 people eating and 7-8 people working. By no means busy. The floor was covered in old food and spilled soda near the fountain. The burger was decent but we didn’t order our burgers with tomatoes, yet both of them had tomatoes. We aren’t too picky so we ate it anyway. Then we go to the fries. We got the “Cajun style” fries. They were old and stale, cold and hard. I wouldn’t call that “Cajun” under any definition of the word. The flavor was lacking in every aspect and they were too greasy. All and all, I’m disappointed. I had gone here where the place first opened and I remember it being good. Now, it seems like it’s peak was years ago. Also, it was too expensive for what it was. One of the best burgers I've ever tasted. You can go double or single. My 1st time there I dis order the simplest double burger and I got so impressed when I saw those two thick chunks of meats. Plus, you can add some veggies to it including raw, sauteed onions, mushrooms, and even green bell pepper. The fries and the drink come apart so you need to pay for them. I was with my gf and bc we did not know how small/big the fries were, we just order a big fries for both of us. My biggest surprise was the size. They should rename them "Giant" instead of Large. And the price? To say is worth your money wouldn't be too accurate. Bottom line, great place with one of the best...

i’m not sure if the cashier was having a bad day or what but the woman , i think her name was Elodie, never greeted me and it seemed as if i was bothering her? i’m a very simple person when it comes to customer service, as i just want you to greet me and at least act like your care that im here but she did none of that she even had a little bit of an attitude as i was ordering. also i felt rushed even though i was the only one in the line. i dont know man i hope she has a better day or something because she definetly ruined mines and honestly after that i didnt even want the food and also havent...
