Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Lafayette

First time visiting this store I can say I won't be back. Let me start with the young man who took my order was very sweet and has the best customer service in that store. I've been in the food service industry for 20 years and I'm very familiar with the food safety guidelines. The veggie side was broke down at 930ish. Everything placed behind on another counter not meant to keep things at the correct holding temp. The young lady cleaning sprayed her cleaner right into the line while another customers food was sitting right there. The employee working with the customers did pull some products from another line by the register but for the most part if someone needed veggies or something else it came from the food sitting out. My time to order - great employee again very kind. I ordered my daughters food thankfully everything else after meat came from that side line but when it was time for the queso there was none in the cambro so he explained he needed to get some more. Unable to locate any on the side line he opened a new bag and dropped the new product into the old dried up queso pan already on the line. I decline the queso and paid for my food. I have NEVER in my life written a review before, because usually when my orders are wrong it’s little things that I’m okay with, but I am extremely disappointed. I ordered 2 bowls and a side of chips…first things first I didn’t get the chips, I over looked that I have chips at home…but what really got me was my bowls. I opened the first one it was the portion size of a toddler, and I promise you for ME to complain about a portion size is a serious problem, within this bowl I ordered queso, brown rice, beef barbacoa, pinto beans, sour cream, roasted corn salsa, salsa and cheese. Not that hard…my bowl only had corn, beef barbacoa and everything was FLOATING in red salsa. The second bowl I ordered was the exact thing and when I opened it up this one only had cheese, beef barbacoa and corn. I mean at this point it’s not just a mistake. Definitely did not the deserve to receive this type of service. how do you forget the rice? that’s the first thing you add into a bowl. I probably wouldn’t have even complained if I had got rice, but whoever made these bowls were...

Today I went here to get a burrito bowl and the girl with a curly bun and glasses behind the counter had the nastiest attitude. She got upset because I asked for a little more veggies. She smacked her lips really loud, rolled her eyes and then slapped the veggies on my bowl. When I asked for certain items on the side instead of on my bowl they charged me extra. I can understand if I actually got extra of something but I didn’t. I simply wanted the pico and salsa on the side. I didn’t want it on top of everything because I wasn’t going to eat it all in one sitting. Nobody wants to eat hot pico or hot salsa. When I got to the cashier to pay guy told the cashier “she got sides” and they charged me extra. No guac, no queso, no extra meat etc. was ordered yet I still had to pay more than what I should have. I am NEVER going here again and I should have listened to the many people who said their service was not so great. They can take that extra up charge as a tip, Merry...
