The single worse take out experience of my life. To start, I understand it was Valentines days and was expecting some sort of delay. Additionally, this review is from someone who spent most of his 20’s in the service industry.
Ordered my food online, as I always do, at 6:00 pm and got the email confirmation and text. The confirmation said pick up at 6:33p so I started to mosey my way over to the Ambassador location. Got there at 6:40p and parked in spot 1 and sent arrival confirmation in through the site. 20 min went by (now 7p-ish) with still no delivery so went in the building. Walking in could see a few customers near the take-out bar area. Waited there for someone to tell I was here, but no one really came by. I finally told someone I was there and the take out girl said “I haven’t seen it yet”- reminder- now 1 hour after order/ 30 min over finish time. Because of my service industry experience, I stayed calm and waited at the bar saying- maybe it’s just a bad day (boy, was I right). Continued to wait and more and more people piled in to bar area- probably 20 people all waiting on their orders. There was a few people ahead of me, I struck up a convo with. At the time of our conversation she was at the 2 hour mark. If I wouldn’t have paid online, I would have left— stuck it out because the wife wanted a steak for Valentine’s Day and periodically checked in my food. Finally the TOGO girl said my name, 2 hours after FINISH TIME. Manager wasn’t much help- handed food and she said - Here you go! Not sorry, not here is your comped food. Just an informal, here.
Needless to say, the night we were supposed to spend together was somewhat ruined as it was time for the kids to come home but went straight home to deliver the food and hopefully eat quickly. Opened the food and it was freezing cold and not cooked to order so needless to say it was a terrible experience.
This is not a review for the Togo girls, even though they did not seem to have it together, this is for the GM or Operations exec. You need to seriously look over your take-out ordering and operations on the store level.

Read moreI went dine at Longhorn on Saturday October 1st with several other people and we were all very unsatisfied!!!! It was a 45 minute wait when we arrived, so we went sit at the bar to have a drink. Needless to say I ordered my drink and finally received it after 40 minutes of ordering it and asking about it 5 times. After this 40 minute wait I received by drink and it was wrong. I had ordered a Sangria Margarita- Frozen and received sometype of Sangria drink on the rocks. The unfriendly waiter then went to make the correct drink, which 20 minutes later I received and it was a very very sour so said margarita! The waiter told me he put sweet and sour in it to give it a sargria taste- realllly!!! I then told him just to give me a strawberry margarita (sounded simple). Well we were then seated and they told me they would bring it to my table. Waited 25 minutes....still no drink! I then asked our waitress about it she went to check on it and finally after about 15 minutes she came back with a drink that tasted like a watered down icee. Well by this time I was so frustrated I didn't even want to try anything else! I then get my food and it was covered in the fried onion strips (which I love) Well the first bite tasted like they had poured a whole bottle of salt on them! No kidding it actually burned my tongue it was so salty. This was overall of very very bad experience and I would not recommend this place to anyone. Read moreWhen we walked in tonight the hostess did not say hello or welcome just that there would be a 45 minute wait. There were some open tables in sight- we were a party of 3. We waited for 30 minutes before we were seated and several people were seated before us that came in after us. I checked the website and I said that they didn't take reservations. It took 5 minutes before our waitress asked for our drinks. My husband wanted the dragon fruit Margherita but the waitress said they didn't have that. My husband was trying to decide what drink he wanted and looked up and our waitress was gone. She just left with no warning or saying she'd be right back. We finally ordered after another 5 or so minutes. When our steaks came, they were both wrong, my husband's was medium (he ordered medium rare) and mine was medium rare, I ordered medium). She took mine back because I couldn't eat medium rare and since he was so hungry, he just ate the medium. The reason for the low rating was the service. It was our anniversary dinner and we will not be returning. 2 hours spent where we could have gotten way better service. The waitress was nice other than her not telling us she was leaving but the hostess needs a lot of training on customer service (young blond girl) on...
