I have been to many McAllister Deli locations and this location by far has been extremely disappointing. The first time I came here my order was messed up and the girl at the register was not friendly and acted like it was an inconvenience to HER that my order wasn't right. She never smiled, apologized, or cared. Though this was a negative experience I gave it another chance today only to be disappointed again. My order was messed up and when I asked the girl at the counter if I may add a drink to the order (to give the company more money) she sighed under her breath with an attitude and just said "ok". Mind you there was hardly anyone in there so there wasn't any reason for the mess up or lack of desire to help a customer. There are so many places for people to spend their money especially in a community like Lafayette where there's tons of local flavor/cuisine. I was going to contact online but there was no option, so here is the feedback. I hope the company and manager of this location really coach and take a look at the employees they have dealing face to face with customers. Customer experience is everything and if you have employees that do not care about customers or can even present a positive can-do attitude, your business will continue to suffer. I will continue to support the brand, but not this location. Very sad, unfortunate, and disappointing. I hope you find people to work in this location that care about customers and...
Read moreI ordered a jalapeño turkey crunch sandwich like I always do when I eat here. This time the sandwich came with one slice of avocado cut in half down the middle so each piece was maybe the size a small child's pinky finger. I brought the sandwich back and explained that it comes with way more avocado and asked for more. The manager tells the girl who has my sandwich that that's how much comes with it (which is not true) so she gives me the sandwich back and I speak to another girl who then tells me that since there's avocado on the sandwich it's considered enough and they will not put anymore on it and if I wanted more then I would have to pay for it. Instead of putting more avocado on the sandwich like it's supposed to be made, they would rather lose business. The girls at the cash register were very nice but the one with blue hair and giant fake lashes needs an attitude check or a job that isn't in customer service. The last time we were at this location (multiple kids were seated in the lobby) the girls in the kitchen were hollering cuss words and talking about someone and fussing loud enough for everyone to hear. Quite a few of the workers, not all, in this location lack professionalism, respect for other people, and clearly don't care to work. Not to mention it was so filthy...
Read moreI love McAlisters but very disappointed by the experience I had this morning there. To start, we were waiting at the counter ready to order while someone was counting the money in the register and another employee was up front maybe stocking desserts, not exactly sure. We were waiting for a bit and neither of them acknowledged us waiting or said it will be a minute before they can take our order. I finally spoke up and asked if we could order. When I was given my drink, I was told they were out of straws. Then I receive my order which was the pepper jack turkey sandwich (menu says honey mustards comes on it). There was no honey mustard on the sandwich and when I asked for it, I was told they were out of honey mustard. Why wasn’t I told this when I ordered? I may have gotten a different sandwich. Also had to ask for a spoon for my chili since they gave me a fork to eat my chili with. My friend then goes to the restroom and realizes there’s no toilet paper after she uses the bathroom so she has to hop over to the other stall to get toilet paper! Lastly, when she goes to grab a to go box, she ends up grabbing 3 because the first...
