Once a latte gets above five bucks something happens, expectations! Single origin, hand made syrups, divine blend of balance bitter notes and creamy sweet flavors, those are the established mainstream essentials for any spot aspiring to be better than Dunkin! I have twice enjoyed the inspired space here getting me far away from the dull Midwest, a huge menu boasting all sorts, plenty to pick from with fan favorites and seasonal picks, espresso seemed decently roasted and matches with the basic white girl vibes however the pricing is entirely optimistic. Greyhouse and Indie Coffee Roasters have the same issue. My large latte with soy nearly touched eight bucks which is fine for house crafted syrups and top tier bean juice. But no and also sadly again no, there are no real flavors only plastic pumps of sucrose. My latte was extremely sweet, likely hiding Starbucks quality java. Eleventh House, Sacred Grounds, Wanderlust and even the cold brew oddity that is Java House make for better...

While out with my adult son who is disabled, we stopped by Réveille in search of coffee that did NOT come from THE overpriced coffee drive through. The at atmosphere was quiet, private and historically pleasant. The coffee had deep flavor while not being bitter. The staff was quiet and not readily willing to engage in eye contact and warm greetings but perhaps they had experienced a difficult morning. We were not offered their morning pastries which I generally do not purchase but might have been open to the option had they been offered. Over all, the coffee was good, the ambiance of the store is inviting. The staff could be more warm and inviting. Prices were the current anticipated higher end. This coffee shop has a lot of potential and only time will tell if they find their place in the community and...

We found this coffee shop through Instagram, where their description says they serve specialty coffee drinks, locally made pastries, and donuts. Some of the photos in their feed included croissants, pain au chocolat, and bagels. In addition, their menu photos on Google lists croissants and pain au chocolat, so we thought we'd found out Lafayette trip breakfast place! The exterior is gorgeous and the interior is adorable. Unfortunately, that isn't why we visited. On the day we were there, they had absolutely no pastries, only donuts. The staff member was not personable. When we asked about croissants, he just said "no, we only have donuts", so we left in search of a place that had both coffee and croissants. A shame, because their coffee smelled great, but we...

Quiet, quaint coffee shop with friendly service. Great location, we visited on a Saturday morning (great stop if you’re visiting the Farmer’s Market or doing some early Saturday shopping in the downtown area). Wide variety of flavor options (including violet, which I rarely see at most coffee shops). I enjoyed an iced lavender honey latte and shared a cinnamon roll (delivered fresh from local donut shop) with a friend. We arrived at a perfect time for seats to open up and no line, but the line formed quickly behind us. Will definitely be back!

Wonderful little coffee shop! Easy to get to, lots of street parking available. The Magic Bowl is a delicious and comforting tea latte, we enjoyed it iced! The iced white mocha was perfectly sweetened and the espresso flavor was spot on! The Barista's were super sweet and didn't bat an eye at our big group of 7! Add this stop to your list if you are looking for great coffee or tea in Lafayette!
