On this day, we visited Ripple and Company in Lafayette, IN after a weekend at Purdue. Ripple & Co. was not our first choice, but, as luck would have it, it will be added to the roster of staples when in town. If you haven’t been, this place is awesome in so many ways! When you walk in you get transported into a very chic and hip nostalgic place mimicking days of old with motor shop signs and old vinyl record albums displayed on the walls. The flow is very open and airy and very inviting. As soon as we entered we were greeted as old friends and added to a list. It wasn’t a long wait, even on this busiest of weekends. Out waiter was great, friendly, quick and very knowledgeable about the menu. But… The real reason we were there, was the food. And it did not disappoint! We ordered the Chili Lime Steak Sandwich, a Chili Lime Flank Steak with Creamy Guacamole, Caramelized Onions, Pickled Jalapeno & Smoked Cheddar & Red Pepper Chimichurri on A Baguette with a bit of heat and a complex but delicious combination of flavor that just set your taste buds ablaze! Also ordered the Breakfast Cubano, A House Smoked Pulled Pork, Sliced Ham & Capicola, Swiss Cheese, w/ Dijon Mustard, House Sweet & Spicy Pickles, & a Fried Egg on a Hoagie with Crispy Cheddar Potatoes. This was a close replica of a sandwich you’d find in Miami’s Calle Ocho and was very pleased to find that in Indiana. The next dishes were a huge hit! The Chicken and Biscuits topped w/ Sausage Gravy, Hash & an Over Easy Egg had ONE OF THE BEST gravy’s I’ve ever tasted! The Company Room Breakfast consisting of Two Eggs, One Biscuit & Gravy, Crispy Cheddar Potatoes, Two Slices of Applewood Smoked Bacon, w/ Toast, & Fresh Fruit. Lastly was the Steak & Eggs, Two Filet Medallions cooked to medium w/ Chipotle Hollandaise. Two Over Easy Eggs & Crispy Cheddar Potatoes. The steak was amazing! We had a Bloody Mary, which was spicy and well balanced, a Grapefruit Mimosa that was really good and a Rapberry Bellini that was incredibly soft, yet sophisticated. Needless to say to say we will return, and hope to see you guys here!

My partner and I went in at 10 a on a Saturday. We had the lemon and blackberry toast, the Bs and Gs, and the Pork Belly Sliders. The Food: Personal opinions aside, the food was of a high quality and there is something that most would enjoy on their brunch menu. My following opinions are my own but something to consider. The lemon and blackberry french toast was made very well. The berry compote was quite overpowering and tart. It was helped by the lemon cream, which was my favorite part. It could've used a little more sweetness. The Bs and Gs were my favorite. The biscuits were flaky and held up well to the gravy. It's exactly what you would want from biscuits and gravy. My partner really enjoyed that pork belly sliders. I'm not a huge fan of smoked meats so I passed, but they're dressed with a jam and had wonderful brioche buns. Service: No complaints here. We went right when they opened so they weren't busy yet. Our server was attentive and courteous. Atmosphere: I really enjoy the Americana vibe here. Is it particularly unique? Not really. But it is done really well. I hope I can dine upstairs soon.

i and a group of my friends came in for dinner and we’re immediately met with some of the friendliest staff and best service i have gotten in the entire lafayette area. our server megan (according to the receipt at least, i have horrible memory) was absolutely lovely and the host that sat us was a gem as well. the menu, while not the largest selection, has a good variety of options, where most of the items can be made vegetarian and gluten free to accommodate different diets. the brisket, meatloaf, mac n cheese, and pulled bbq sandwich were all amazing and my entire group was sharing food around so we could all have a taste. the pricing may seem a tad bit steep, but the portions are good and the food is 110% worth it. we had a lovely time, and this is 100% the best place in lafayette we’ve had so far!

Wow! Ripple & Company knocked it out of the park for our Welcome Party & Rehearsal Dinner celebration last weekend. Thank you Taia, Nick, Brooke, Aaron, Bailey and the entire crew for your outstanding service. This group knows hospitality and quality. The weather cooperated to allow us use of both the event room and the balcony (complete with heat lamps and a fire pit). The food was delicious. We appreciate the attention to detail in the food presentation. This crew painstakingly assembled esthetically pleasing platters that preserved the integrity of the food. As soon as the platters and bowls needed refreshed, the Ripple crew was on the spot with a new fresh platter/bowl. There was something for every guest and we received so much positive feedback from our guests on the stellar job by the Ripple crew. We enjoyed tomato & mozzarella skewers, East End crab cakes, stuffed mushrooms, BBQ brisket sliders, mini Ripple empanadas, caprese flatbread, smoked andouille meatballs, a french fry & tater tot poutine station (complete with burnt ends), a street taco station (with adobo chicken & local pork), a garden board, chocolate sea salt cookies, churros, canolis, and a flambé station with a choice of either cherries jubilee or bananas foster. A well-stocked bar rounded out the evening and a champagne toast was enjoyed as well. Of course, we appreciated the Greyhouse coffee, too. Truly, Ripple crew, you allowed our guests (many who had spent a day traveling) a special evening. We are grateful - the...

There were 4 of us who ate a late lunch on a Saturday. We found the facility to be clean, bright and inviting. The employees were helpful in explaining the menu and flow of the restaurant. Both beer and cocktails are on tap. They smoke their meat in house. We ordered the smoked brisket and it was both tender and flavorful. There was also a French Dip Sandwich ordered and it was tasty as well. The sides are varied and we enjoyed all that we ordered - Cheddar Mac & Cheese, Jalapeno Pickled Pineapple Slaw and Ripple Potato Chips with House Made French Onion Dip. We also ordered the Hot & Sweet Glazed Smoked Wings appetizer, but were not a fan. The wings are whole (which is a little creepy for me, but that is my issue) and the sauce was heavy on the vinegar (which is not our preference). There are Greyhouse coffee products (both coffees and merchandise) available. We also saw an assortment of donuts and there were homemade desserts. There are plenty of GF & V options available for those who prefer those dishes. The upstairs was closed, but they let us take a peek. It would be a great place for a business gathering or private party. There is a kitchen area, bar and outdoor patio on the 2nd floor. I spoke with the GM about this area after we took a look. They have excellent AV capabilities and it is handicapped accessible. I expect this will be a popular spot downtown. The food is high quality and the service was excellent. We...
