This place went above and beyond on flavor and service. The place fits perfectly for a bbq joint. Very rustic and warm and welcoming all at the same time. I placed an order to go for my husbands break dinner, which is important to note because I picked up at 7:45 and his break doesn’t start until 8:30. The food was still warm and fresh. For dinner we ordered the og with seasoned tots, brisket & Brie with Mac n cheese, side of greens, and cornbread, we also got a kids pulled pork with cornbread and sweet tea. The og sandwich was really good and went well with the bbq sauce and pickles, the pickles were flavorful but lacked crunch. The brisket and Brie was absolutely amazing. I got it without the onions. Only downside to the sandwich was the jalapeño jam wasn’t spicy at all so I was missing that note of spice, I also wasn’t able to get the white bbq sauce that is super popular and sells out fast so you definitely want to get there early to get some. Overall the sandwich blew me away and was a wonderful combo. I could eat ten more of those. The greens and Mac were super good. They had a lot of flavor. I could of used some vinegar for the greens. Those sides were a great portion. Enough for leftovers or to share. I also got the cornbread which was amazing but for 3$ I was expecting two slices and I only got one. For the kids meal they enjoyed the pork and corn bread. The pork was juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately they didn’t get their drink for their meal. Other than that the foods outweighed the bad and they definitely know their bbq. This will be our new regular when we come to town because they didn’t disappoint and I need another brisket sandwich. * note didn’t take pictures because it was to go and sat a while. So the pictures wouldn’t of done the...
Read moreCute little quaint place that’s tucked off in town. The restaurant itself is really nice. The lighting is great and the music definitely makes the atmosphere! To start they had a nice drink special: beer and a shot for $5! We definitely took advantage of that. Their Boozy Slushy was a whiskey root beer and it was delicious! I’d highly recommend trying whatever flavor they have! Food wise, they were out of the brisket, chicken and the mustard greens when we went. It sucks because I wanted to order both the brisket and greens! Other than that, the food was tasty and flavorful. Our server was pretty decent and attentive himself! I’d definitely recommend this BBQ place to anyone looking for some good cooked food!
Photo 1: Pulled Pork Plate The pulled pork was good. There weren’t any fatty pieces, which was a positive. The serving amount was just right - not too much and not too little! It all had a great taste. The Mac and cheese was pretty good and very creamy. The potato salad was okay. Probably wouldn’t order it again, but it was not bad.
Photo 2: Rib Plate (tacos not included) The ribs were delicious. There wasn’t much fat on any of the ribs and the meat was cooked really well! Very tender and very flavorful!
Photo 3: Pulled Pork Tacos I was not expecting these tacos to be so stuffed with meat! 3 of these and some sides are easily a meal in and of themselves! One was topped with pico and the other was topped with coleslaw - go pico. I’m disappointed because I wanted to try the brisket tacos, but they were out of brisket! Hopefully brisket is just as good as the pulled pork.
Photo 4: Root beer slushee First time ever having a root beer slushee, but I will be back in the summer time for a day of slushee...

Went to dinner this evening at Revolution BBQ and overall had a decent experience.
They were sold out of some things, especially beers on the menu, but that happens often at BBQ places. Disappointed the Esquites were not available even though they were listed on the menu, and it is currently Summer (not astronomically though so I’m technically incorrect about the season…).
The service was a little lackluster overall, no complaints about our server but no compliments either. Very monotone server who did not check up at the table that often. Seems like most of the waitstaff are on the younger side so could just be a lack of experience with customer service.
The food was fantastic though! The price for sure matches the quality and portion. My only complaint is that they do the ‘branded’ buns which I think is overrated and ends up burning part of the bun and making it super bitter for a couple bites.
My overall biggest complaint is the SERVICE FEE. Not that they have a service fee but because NOWHERE does it say there is a service fee. The waitress took my card to pay without showing me an overall total of the bill as well. I DID NOT KNOW I was being charged a service fee until after I paid! The lack of transparency is highly unethical in my opinion. If either the menu or the waitress had told me of the service charge this would not have been a problem.
I think in the future I will probably stick to mobile order pickups from here instead of dining in, that way I fully know...
