I was in town with a few friends for the Notre Dame v. Purdue game. We had a great experience at 648 Bourbon and Cigar Lounge on Friday night before the game and Saturday after the game.

Met some great people and had great conversations. The cigar brotherhood/sisterhood is on full display at this establishment!

The service from the staff was outstanding-waiters and waitresses were very attentive even as the lounge got busy later in the evening. It was a pleasure talking to the manager and the owner. The owner is very passionate about cigars and took the time to show us some rarities and high end cigars (not trying to push sales but just being cool and showing us some really neat and hard to find product).

The place is great as is but he (owner) was honest about some upgrades he wants to make (bigger selection of cigars and more humidor space). He asked for input from us and other guests as well. You can tell he is dedicated to creating the best experience he can for his customers.

Going into this trip I thought it would be my one and only trip to Lafayette/West Lafayette for a game but this establishment enhanced the trip so much that I plan to be back soon.

Thanks for a...

If you are in town and love cigars, this is the place to go. You won't find better people, better service or a better all around vibe. Kevin, Ryan and Katie (hope I spelled those right) took such great care of us.

This isn't just a cigar lounge, it's a bourbon destination. Truly an amazing selections, in every price point, of liquor and beer. Try the Johnny Walker Blue or go with your favorite whatever. Kevin is easy to talk to and is happy to help you learn about cigars or bourbon.

I am very particular of the cut and toast of my cigars. I carry my own kit, but Ryan cut and toasted mine to perfection I found cigars here that even I haven't seen before.

Smaller, select humidor with variety and quality. Something for every profile and something new every time we visit.

They have a chocolate assortment that is well priced, but so good.

These are just really good, friendly and customer oriented people that will make your time there extraordinary.

Everytime, we are in town, 648 Bourbon is a must. Once you try it, it will be a must for you too. We will be back in five or so...

648 Cigar and Bourbon Lounge is a very unique and relaxing establishment.

The whiskey selection is almost endless, from your everyday sippers to the harder-to-find allocated bottles on their top shelf. They also have a solid cocktail menu, as well as seasonal options that are very well crafted. The smoked Old Fashioned is their staple drink, and arguably the best OF I’ve ever had. The bar staff is knowledgeable and friendly, and happy to make suggestions, whether it’s drinks or sticks.

Whether you’re a seasoned cigar aficionado or new to smoking, the humidor has plenty of options to suit your palette.

They also have a very reasonably priced Locker Club, especially if you visit frequently.

Cozy Kitchen handles the eats. They have daily specials and a menu with anything from burgers, wings, and wraps to ribs and prime rib. The Cowboy Burger is my favorite. Very affordable and large portions.

I frequently visit 648, and have never had an issue that wasn’t corrected or handled immediately.

Highly...

This is an absolutely fantastic place to wind down and smoke some cigars, the atmosphere here is perfect and it feels cozy and welcoming. The owner and his wife are very friendly and make sure you are well taken care of, the staff that was there were also top tier! The bartender, Jasmine, was fantastic and made some wonderful drinks while I was there. The food is also outstanding, they have a wide variety of things to select from that beautifully compliment any cigar and whiskey you might be enjoying. I highly recommend their Lamb meatballs in curry sauce, honestly a perfect flavor and temperature across the board when it was served to me. I will definitely be visiting here whenever I get the chance. This is one of the few places I've been to that I wish I could give more than 5 stars, any cigar or whiskey enjoyer will find enjoyment here guaranteed!

Fantastic place for an after dinner drink and smoke. Or just a place to socialize with the occasional cigar. They have a very decent beer menu, and expansive cocktail list. It does not smell heavily of cigar smoke if you're worried about it being overbearing when when you leave. There are fans on constantly. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. I dare say this is the Nicky Blaine's of Lafayette, but considerably cheaper. They have NO FEE to bring your own cigars (as long as you cut them yourself).
