Scooter's Coffee — Restaurant in Lafayette

I absolutely loved this place yesterday. It was my first time, and the person working the drive through gave me suggestions on what to get. I learned later that he is the franchise owner, and they will be opening two more locations here in Lafayette! Jeff was wonderful. I got the Caramelicious frozen, half flavor, and a spicy sausage burrito. They were both wonderful. No wait in line was also nice. I love this place bc many of the local coffee shops do not have a variety of hearty breakfast items and mainly do pastries. At Scooters, there a wide variety of breakfast items and every kind of coffee speciality drink you could imagine. We will definitely be back and welcome both of his new stores coming, too. I have only been here once and I will update my review as other visits change it for the better or worse. I will say I was excited to try this place. Its always nice when a new place is introduced when you are used to just 1 or 2 coffee places locally. I ordered a frozen caramel cappuccino. There was no hint of coffee detected in this. It reminded me more of a milkshake.

The other thing was the price. We all know luxury coffees like this are more of a treat due to price. I wasn't expecting 8 dollars though. Most restaurants offer $10 meals and I felt ashamed that i spent that on a mediocre coffee. I will give it other chances (smaller sizes though, not paying that price for something like this if it...

I don’t think my order was correct. I asked if they had sugar free mocha at the drive through speaker. She said yes. I asked for a sugar free iced coffee, extra shot of espresso and oatmilk. When the drink was handed to me at the window I asked if it was sugar free ice coffee. The guy said I think so. The color looked way off to be iced coffee. It looked like chocolate milk. Upon drinking it, it tasted like chocolate milk with extra chocolate and was so sweet that no hint of coffee could be detected!
