I arrived about 35 minutes before closing. I normally order from the SusieCakes in San Francisco for my job. Because of this I got an email that informed me of their pineapple upside down cupcake and I had to get one! So I donāt normally eat pineapple a few of my friends do and I was going to see them in Lafayette, so the circumstances were perfect. Iāve never been to this establishment before, and was concerned that they would already be sold out of the delicious treat, so instead of ordering ahead, I decided to just run into the store. I have some basic knowledge of the Lafayette area, so I assume there would be parking in front that I could quickly dip into the store and grab my treats and go. The front parking area has been blocked off for the restaurants in the area. Not a problem, and honestly a great idea, especially as we move towards warmer weather. Instead, I parked around the back of the establishment, closer to the AT&T store. I didnāt notice that the parking had meters on them that end at 7 PM, so I did have to put in a little change to make sure that my car wouldnāt be taken for the five or so minutes, I would be in there, but better safe than sorry, Wright! I wish I remembered the name of the lovely woman who assisted me. I came in a bit frantic, just how traffic gets me, especially during a weekday, but once I calm down, I was supposedly able to make my order. Two lemon cupcakes, two red velvet cupcakes, two lemon cupcakes, two pineapple upside down cupcakes, and two snickerdoodle cookies. In total it came to about $48, which was about what I assumed it would come out to. The store smells absolutely delicious! And everything looks magical. I think my friends are gonna be very excited to see this! Oh, I forgot to mention the thing that I love the most! They have gluten-free flourless desserts as well. I didnāt think my friend who canāt have gluten would be out with us tonight so I didnāt pick one up, but that cake looks absolutely delicious and I know they wouldāve loved it if I...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLady serving the cake and boxing was super rude to me and my wife. She told us that she dropped our cake and it got messed up, and wasnt sure if we wanted another one⦠then I responded with āYes we would like another cakeā. Then she very disrespectfully tells us āwell thats fine, I can just give this free cake to someone else, I have no problem with thatā. This was confusing to us because she never once told us that she was going to give us the messed up cake plus another new cake⦠she was the one that asked the confusing question, without giving all the relevant details. That lady servicing the cakes on 12/16/2023, has poor communication skills and might need customer service training. As a long time customer, I donāt appreciate her condescending rude remarks.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI LOVE cake, but it's so hard to find bakeries that offer single slices of cake! Most just have cupcakes (which this place does too,) but it's just not the same to me.
I treated myself to some cake today after a stressful medical appointment, and the staff was super nice and the selection was almost overwhelming. They were very patient, and I decided on a slice of vanilla celebration cake. This slice was HUGE and it's now almost midnight and I'm not even halfway through it. It's super sweet but also tastes like they used the highest quality ingredients possible. My only complaint is that I like a lighter, fluffier cake and this is more dense, but that is personal preference (like I said, I LOVE cake.) My fiance got the carrot cake and said it...
