B+C Pizza — Restaurant in Laguna Niguel

I've had incredibly good luck on my pizza quest, reviews from others have overall been accurate. Most of the places have been very good. B+C is no exception. In fact, it's exceptional. I'm so incredibly happy to have come here and will be excited to return.

Food: I always qualify this by saying that my first time at a new pizza spot, I get a cheese pie. It was stupendous. The crust is truly the star of the show. Fantastic texture, wonderful flavor, good integrity, it held well. The sauce was flavorful and delicious. The cheese was good quality. The basil was fresh and gave the slices a nice pop. It all came together perfectly. Perhaps my favorite aspect is that they know how to bake a pie. Just an absolutely perfectly well done pizza, resulting in perfect execution of the cook of the cheese and crust. Proper browning of the cheese and a light char on the crust. Outstanding in that regard. I also got two cookies and they were also top tier.

Service: Only a brief interaction, but the woman (probably Natalie based on other reviews) could not have been nicer. Very friendly and memorable even with such a limited interaction. It's a little on the pricier side, but it's worth every penny.

Atmosphere: It's run for just 4 hours a day, 5 days a week out of Butter + Cream Bakery. You order online and pick up inside a relatively small but pretty charming bakery. The fact that it essentially moonlights as a pizzeria some evenings actually gives it kind of a cool factor. You walk in and there are some cookies in the display case as a bakery would have, but you smell amazing aromas of pizza and out from the back a friendly lady comes with one of the better pies you'll have. As fun as it can get for a takeout only place I'd say...plus you can get cookies.

In my pizza journey throughout OC, B+C really stands out. To date, it is the second best pizza I've found in OC. Phenomenal. I can't say enough good things and can't wait to eat it again. Fun vibe, friendly service, elite pizza (I'm still thinking about that crust a day and a half later)...if you are an Orange County pizza lover, B+C is a must try, a can't...

Ummm, is pizza supposed to be this good? Is this what I’ve been missing my entire life?

This is not a “really good pizza” this is a FANTASTIC pizza. We got the first timer. Potato edges out pepperoni in my opinion but both are mind boggling good and for the life of me I don’t know why. Thin pizza, amazing sauce, complimentary toppings, charred crispy crust = YUM. I will be eating here again. Daughter says this needs to be the pizza place for her birthday.

Owner is a one-man show and very friendly. He clearly knows what he is doing.

Cookies are a bonus and are really quite good. I don’t have much of a sweet tooth but I do appreciate a nice oatmeal raisin cookie now and again. This one was definitely not a standard cookie. Texture was perfect. Crispy edges, soft chewy center and great flavor. A little sweet for my tastes but that’s probably just me. This is not a crumbl sickly sweet disgusting cookie by any measure. It’s a great cookie. I’m just not a sugar fiend. My daughter thought the chocolate and caramel cookie was amazing. I took a nibble. It was good but you can guess my complaint. She did not complain :D

One size only. Topping choices are more than enough for me, but they probably don’t have exotic and unnatural toppings like canned pineapple.

No bold signage. Trust the gps. You won’t think you are in the right spot.

No paper menus, no branded pizza box…this place feels like a hidden secret and they are just getting started but…they are established and this is their vibe. It’s all about the pizza folks.

Interior is filled with lego sets put together by the kiddos. Kinda cute and my kiddo enjoyed seeing them up close.

Five stars is not enough to accurately rate the quality and deliciousness of the pizzas, as well as, the great hospitality we received from Paul. Hidden gem has been used repeatedly in the reviews for B+C Pizza but I can't find a better term to describe our experience.

When Google announced we had reached our destination, we were puzzled, drove around and finally decided to park. After asking a person leaving the shop if this was the same place that serves pizza, he enthusiastically gave a glowing review of the pizza and Paul. Our experience after that has been amazing and memorable.

Upon return to our hotel room, everyone was so busy enjoying their slices of pizza that no words were available or necessary. Each bite was a blast of flavor combinations from ingredients that perfectly matched a crunchy and chewy crust with the right amount of toastiness from a well seasoned pizza oven.

I don't normally write reviews but after telling friends, family, and coworkers about this place they all urged me to share my experience.

P.S., Try the baked goods. They are equally delicious and nicely decorated. A delightful end...
