Big Daddy's Sports Grill — Restaurant in Lake Charles

This was my first time to get there during breakfast. But they serve full menu all day. The only thing they stated we could not get was baked potatoes.

We arrived and we chose a table. We were greeted promptly and drinks were ordered. My youngest child got the silver dollar pancakes, my oldest child ordered 2 flap jacks and 1 egg, I ordered the first base, my mom ordered the bench warmer, I also added a side of toast, and we ordered beignets. My kids received coloring pages and the waitress came and brought more colors. The food came out quickly and everything was phenomenal. The eggs were cooked perfectly, the bacon was crisp, the pancakes were perfect, the biscuit was soft, the hashbrown could have even done better for me, and the beignets were good. Not Cafe Du Monde good, but they hit the spot. We had entirely too much food but it was wonderful. My only complaint is that the hashbrown could have been burnt more for me, but the waitress told me their grill couldn't get hot enough to burn them. I still ate a little...

I am a fan of Big Daddy's always have been. I received 2 shrimp poboys that just had a funny after taste. I called in to see if maybe We can just get another item made due to the funny after taste. I was told they been serving shrimp all day and never received a complaint. I was also advised that I needed to return the food so it can be inspected. I advised them I am unable to get back to them until Monday. So then the manager proceeds to tell me to put the food that we ate off of in the refrigerator and bring it back to them on Monday!!! I advised them I can also send pictures of the food to an email and he stated no they need food in hand. I advised the manager that it was not about the money or a refund just the customer service portion of how this was handled. When I asked the name of the manager and the young lady I spoke with he told me "what's up what's that for"....I am truly disappointed on how this entire issue was handled as great...

The Bayou Burger exceeded my expectations in both size and flavor. Its juiciness and perfection in cooking showcased the chef’s skill.
