Chicken Salad Chick — Restaurant in Lake Charles

What an experience!!! This was my first time eating at a Chicken Salad Chick.

As soon as we walked in, the atmosphere was alive and vibrant and the restaurant was super clean! We were greeted by the owner, Cindy Self, within moments of our arrival. She explained the menu to us and offered samples of the different chicken salad flavors because it was my first time.

I tasted the Jalapeño Holly, which was good. I tasted the Kickin’ Kay Lynne, but landed on the seasonal Dillicious Diva. The Dillicious Diva got my attention right from the beginning. The cucumber & dill provided a perfect balance of refreshed excitement.

I opted for the Dillicious Diva on the chicken salad melt and was not disappointed. The warm and flaky croissant was amazing, and to complement it, I had the broccoli soup which was very tasty.

Bathrooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

I love Chicken Salad Chick & will definitely be back! Lake Charles got more than it bargained for with Mrs Cindy Self and her Chicken Salad...

I went to chicken salad chick because my Boss asked me too it’s her favorite so as I pulled up to the drive thru I ordered her a Dixie chick and large sassy Scotty . Mind you I’ve never been here before . And the lady asked “ what kind of Dixie chick ? A container or what “ I said “ one second please let me call my boss I’m not sure “ She says “ Well girl I don’t know either “ In such a rude tone . I wanted to order me something also because I wanted to try it but her attitude really put me off . So I get to the window and of course my car sits low and she’s handing me my card and says “ girl I ain’t stretching all the way down there “ She honestly ruined my whole afternoon with her attitude I didn’t understand. I am definitely not a chicken salad fan but due to my co-worker being addicted to Chicken Salad Chick food, I tried it. Veteran’s Day, they gave complimentary meals to Veterans and I was like, this is the time to try the salad, All I can say is WOW. I went to sleep thinking about the delicious flavors and woke up early just to confirm that it is all that and more. First, I was impressed by the amount of salad and the presentation was the bomb. I got the Lauryn’s Lemon Basil and Cranberry Kelli. It is so addicting. It is Delicious and this is coming from a person who never cared for Chicken Salad, I Love it now.
