Bought 2 sacks (70 pounds) of live crawfish for $1.99 a pound. When we picked them up they were small and when we said something to them one man tried to convince us they were larger than we thought once we took them out of the sack. Another man was very unprofessional about it. He got mad at us and told us to give them back so he could sell them to someone else. We decided to take the crawfish and when we poured them out at home one sack was field run (SMALL) and probably the dirtiest crawfish I’ve ever purchased. The other sack was medium-large but mostly medium and was average on cleanliness. All together the second sack was good for the price. I’m being very honest with my experience and hope no one else has to have the same. I know I won’t because I will not be going back. Would not reccommend solely on the rude employee that wanted to take them back so he could try to trick someone else.
(Edit for the owner who asked what the employee looked like) I avoided eye contact because i did not want to cause too much of a scene. However I’ll try my best. The man was Caucasian, less than 6ft y’all, 200 pounds plus, and...

Read moreI visited JT's on yesterday. I'm disabled so I call them from the parking lot to take my order and my payment for 7 lbs of crawfish. Upon making my order with the gentleman I asked did the boiled crawfish come with potatoes and corn. The gentleman replied, yes ma'am. The total came to 49 dlrs and some change. When the gentleman came back out with my order. I asked him to put them in the ice chest in the back of my Kia Sorento. When I got to my destination 4 to 6 mins away. To my disappointment there were no potatoes or corn in the 7 lbs of cold crawfish. And that's not all. About 3 dozen of the cold crustaceans were just the heads. If I would have known that I could have went to Albertson and got just the ball crawfish for 399 a pound instead of paying $5.79 at JT's seafood on lake Street. No worries I will not...
