The Smog Cutter Lounge — Restaurant in Lake Elsinore

We have been in a few times for karaoke but last week is the last time we give this place any money. It wasn't even all that busy and the bartender was so plastered (by 10pm no less) that it took 45 minutes of me standing at the bar waving her over and the entire other side of the bar telling her I had been trying to order for her to actually approach me. Then it took another 45 minutes of her stumbling around behind the bar and her having to ask me 6 more times what I had ordered- I ordered a beer, whiskey/coke, and a rum/coke. By the time I finally got my husbands beer and whiskey it was 2 hours after first arriving and I was so over it that I paid for my husbands drinks and gave up getting my own drink. The bartender is a nice woman but the fact is that even in a dive bar where drinking on the job is allowed, you need to have limits because my husbands drinks also ended up being made by a patron of the bar (I am assuming he was a regular). I don't care if this place does better in the future but anyone new to the area like we are and looking for a new bar- don't bother going here. There's not many other options in the area but so far they have all been far and above...

I'm from the Los Angeles area but I come to Lake Elsinore twice a month to visit my son. After my son and I hang out, I like to stop by this place to wind down. It's a good watering hole. Great service quick and hard awsome strong drinks. Had a total blast definitely returning with more girlfriends. We like the karoke person his super sweet and fun. All the bartenders work hard and have great personalities and our sexy as heck. Cant wait to return. Thxs Maxine...
