Today was beyond shocking! After ordering I was standing there waiting patiently for my food away from the counter and one of the employees decided she wanted to have a confrontation for no apparent reason. She wanted me to stand and wait in another area, even though other people were standing in my location as well-- they were not addressed. She then decided to yell and me and other customers decided to yell at me due to them thinking I was the one that initiated the conflict (which I didn't), when I was simply looking at my phone with my mask on completely away from people. She was a horrible representation of the establishment and should be addressed by the owner for her egregious behavior. I would love for the owner to please pull the tape and see how I was verbally assaulted within this establishment today, so they can see how a staff change could benefit the restaurant. I know everyone in the world is 'stressed out' but treating people poorly is not okay. I asked for my money back so I could leave-- I will NEVER support this local business again. I hate that so many people are deciding it is okay to be unprofessional, and low class these days because it doesn't encourage anybody to continue to head out in the community to support the economy. I didn't deserve that treatment and she was completely in the wrong. I am totally losing faith in humanity at this point. I expected more out of the population in California, but I have been hate crimed here the most, and had the most aggressive social interactions in this state verses anywhere in the country other than Missouri. So disappointing.
By the way, your counters were dirty and there was no ketchup at all. There were plenty of other things she could've been doing other than seeking unwarranted conflict. Please...
Read moreI love The Habit Grill but last night's experience has me shocked. I placed a curbside order thru the app at about 7:30 pm, received a confirmation email and headed over. When I pulled up to the designated space I clicked 'I'm here' button, received confirmation and waited. A delivery was brought to the car next to me and I continued waiting. After 20 minutes I donned my mask and went inside. I said I had been waiting over 20 minutes for my order, the young man asked my name and checked and said they didn't have the order. I showed him the confirmation on my phone. The manager came over and said they did not have my order and I would have to call the number and ask for a refund! What number?! He finally went in the back to get the number and the young man checked the system again. He handed me the phone number and repeated, call for a refund. So I asked what i was supposed to do now, drive thru In n Out? And he said yes, if you want. When I called the number it directed me to the online 'contact us' form. So I completed that but have heard nothing 12 hours later. I understand systems have glitches but I also understand hospitality having worked over 25 years in the restaurant business. This manager made no effort to resolve the issue and actually sent me away, hungry and frustrated to patronize another establishment leaving me to solve the problem myself. Is there no way to follow up on a confirmation number? Does the manager really have no way to resolve this? BTW there was one customer waiting for their order and no other customers in line so it's not as if they were too...
Read moreI've been to this Habit burger establishment a couple times now and I wouldn't be giving them such a low rating if it wasn't for the unfortunate bug we found in yesterday's order. I will say this, they are the only Habit Burger establishment that offers garlic fries and my god do they do it well if you eat it there fresh! There's nothing else that really stands out besides that, then again it is your typical fast food franchise and I wouldn't have expected anything different...
This brings me back to my main point of why I'm giving them 1/5 stars opposed to the initial 3/5 or 4/5 I was going to toss their way. I picked up some dinner from here last night to take back home for the girlfriend and I to devour since we still had a couple free charboil cheeseburger coupons left. It was a simple order of two garlic fries and two charboil burgers, one of which was protein style.
Fast forward to when I got home and we're ready to eat, my girlfriend looks at her protein style burger and notices a bug on the lettuce. The thing looked like it was just chilling on the lettuce and one of the workers took their hand and squashed the little guy when putting things together. I find this unacceptable and if this wasn't take out, you best believe I would have brought this up to the manager. With all that being said, I'm not sure that I'll ever want to step foot back into this particular Habit Burger after last night's incident. Future customers beware of bugs you may consume in your...
