Refuses to accommodate children who need special orders due to dietary needs. This location has a manager who is condescending, not properly educated, and fails to meet the customers needs . My child has a gluten sensitivity, yet is not celiac. We stated this upon ordering and simply asked them to assemble a gluten free bun with a slice of cheese and to warm it up. We told them it’s ok to warm it on the same grill as her sensitivity slight and is not severe. Every Culvers we have ever visited has accommodated this need, except this location. The management thinks they can choose what is appropriate my daughters diet, not her, or her parents. Who wants to eat a cold bun with cold cheese? Why even offer a gluten free option at this point?! They flat out refused to slap the cheese on the bun and warm it up. Why are you offering gluten free products if you cant even make them edible? People with a gluten sensitivity have it hard enough!! I will NEVER visit a Culver's again . The Employees at Culver’s DO NOT know my daughter’s health more than I do. The management is unprofessional, unaccommodating, and not trained properly . The following information is directly from Culvers website: The menu items listed below do not contain sources of gluten based on ingredient information from our suppliers and their voluntary stated absence of gluten. Because Culver’s® restaurants are not gluten-free environments, we are unable to guarantee any menu item, including those listed below, are completely free of gluten. Cross-contact may occur during preparation and cooking procedures. Please inform the manager or cashier if you have a gluten sensitivity or intolerance when ordering. This wording holds the restaurant not liable for any cross contamination, so the failure to meet the customer’s needs while not being held liable is just plain ignorant. We are the child's parents and the restaurant does not have the right to decide what we feed my daughter, especially because we have always been aware that the risk of cross contamination exists. Obviously the manager needed to assert his authority in this situation, rather than meet the need of a hungry child who just wanted to eat the same thing as her sister, and left with tears in her eyes because the manager thinks he knows my daughter better than her own parents . Are they going to refuse to warm up my veggie burger because as a preference I like the taste of gluten free buns better??? This is whats called crossing the line and over stepping. Do they have any clue how hard it is to have a sensitivity to something and to never have options? Now Culvers will never be an option for us again. It’s about treating people with kindness and respect, not about fulfilling the egos of poorly trained management and staff. I will make sure to share my experience with everyone I know because in this situation you don’t get the right to dictate to a parent what they can or cant feed a child. THE PARENTS DECIDE what their child eats, not the inexperienced young restaurant manager who thinks he knows everything.
To make matters worse : THEY STILL GAVE US FRENCH FRIES WHICH HAVE THE SAME RISK OF CROSS CONTAMINATION!!! Culvers is not providing its employees proper education, training, and customer service and IT SHOWS! Terrible Experience at this location!!! I recommend avoiding this location at...

Got a chocolate shake and a large cheese curd. Asked if we could get the shake made w chocolate custard instead of vanilla, we were told no problem. Asked why they usually use the vanilla custard for the Choco shake out of curiosity and the employee explained why without any hesitation. He was young but was well trained considering who knew the answer for such a minor detail.
Food and drink took a bit but that's fine. Slow and well done over fast and rushed anyday.
We get our stuff. Chocolate shake was good considering my mother drank half of it in 10 minutes or so.
Cheese curds were the most freshly done curds I've ever gotten from a Culver's before. Not reheated old cheese curds, not undercooked or oversalted cheese curds, but hot and finely salted cheese curds.
Probably the best Culver's experience I've ever had and that it happened on a Saturday of all days - the day most employees of establishments tend to check out - is astonishing.
Will certainly make a point of visiting this location more frequently as opposed to the Huntley location. Am curious about their burgers if this is the sort of quality I can expect on occasion (at the very least).
Tell your employees they did a fantastic job and that this customer appreciates their work. Y'all made my day, no embellishment, no overreaction. Honest to God...
Read moreI have been coming to this location with my family ever since it first opened and there is times because we are really busy where we almost eat there once a day for lunch or dinner and today was the first time I was really made to feel like I was in kindergarten again with the young man that took our order was treating me like I was trying to steal ice cream when I had the coupons And then to top it off for a medium drink when all I wanted was a medium ice water and was treating me like a criminal I asked for the money to be removed because I was only getting water and then to top off the young man name Elijah when he thought I wasn’t around. I was over by the beverage bar, getting some napkins and stuff and I overheard him talking badly about me to another employee and getting mad and frustrated , when I was the one belittled and treated poorly by only that employee by the name of Elijah. and we have a few other locations near by us and I think it will be a while before we come back to this one if I could’ve given it zero stars I would’ve just for that one gentleman because I was clear when I ordered and then to talk back and then talk badly about a customer right in front of me and making fun of me just that made me feel so little...
