I typically do not review restaurants. But as a person who is from Chicago and worked in the food industry for more than four years, I have to. I have never been treated with such little respect by multiple different employees in different situations. I’ve never had people not even at a fast food restaurant that want to do their job so little. I understand that they’re getting minimum wage. I understand that things can get tiring. But as someone who has I mentioned knows what customer service is, I guess that when they train them, they don’t cover it. I don’t understand how you have a job that you go to and don’t want to be there. Why are you still going then? Now your bad behavior reflects badly on your establishment and it makes people not wanna go there. I don’t understand why it’s so hard for people to understand such a simple thing. I know this is a long windedcomment, but I have to say it, I went a few weeks ago. The woman saw my name and pretended as though she did not know how to say it it’s a very simple name. She proceeded to mock me, laugh with her coworker and dismiss me. The food was atrocious. And on top of that, I disgracefully had to go for a DoorDash order tonight and I understand that the store was closed at three. But if you guys don’t know this, they still have to make the order. The woman ordered her food through DoorDash before that time, When I went to the drive-through, the girl and probably manager for overnight, I’m assuming we’re working hard to clean, I understand that. They completely disregarded me though. They saw me sitting in my car and completely acted as though I wasn’t even there. They didn’t even take the common courtesy or human decency to say anything for more than 10 minutes. And on top of this, the man had the distaste to come to the door and lie to my face and say that he is incapable of doing this because the store is closed. Then he proceeded to make up a different excuse when I didn’t let out and he’s claimed that a magical person with DoorDash came to pick up this woman’s order before me. Again, if you don’t know, DoorDash doesn’t give you an order to do unless there’s an order to do. I had an order to complete and not only did this Decrease my rating, and I am less likely to be able to pick up orders and make money, but now that reflects badly on them because I reported the store. And it wasn’t even the whole stores fault or any other employee’s fault or the Bigger people’s fault. It was just one nasty bunch. There are never nice people at this establishment, I don’t know what went through his mind to try to gaslight me into thinking that he had already done this order. I honestly feel that he should be fired. And I don’t have a good idea, and I don’t know the truth of this, but it seemed as though possibly the girl that was working there with him through with the ticket maybe maybe he didn’t even know that there was an order, regardless he should’ve wanted to do it. But because he was so caught up at looking at the younger girl in a very disgusting manner as she was cleaning maybe he forgot to do his duties as a manager or as an employee....
Read moreLately with my job, getting off work at 11pm, I either have to to go home and make myself something to eat or stop here because nothing else is open.
I'll say first that I feel for the people working there as they are probably understaffed and over worked and sometimes that place is just packed with cars wrapping around the whole parking lot and extending out of it for the drive thru, while also having a decent number of people inside.
I would never fault anyone for not performing their job 100% under these conditions.
The only complaint I have, is that when I place a mobile order from work 20 minutes before getting there, my order isn't even noticed or started even if I show up at a very slow time to find an empty restaurant.
I sit down by the counter with my phone, and wait about five minutes until a worker asks me who I am.
I tell them I have a mobile order under my name, and he looks over at his screens and then 5 to 10 minutes later they start my order.
I usually end up waiting about 20 minutes at the restaurant, making it about 40 minutes total since I've ordered. Again, even when I catch them at the slowest of times.
I thought the whole point of ordering ahead was to have your food ready to pickup when you get there.
And the app even changes status from "order received" to "working on your order" a minute or two later.
So why is it everytime I get there 20 minutes later, my order has not even been seen yet?
They always find it without me having to tell them what I ordered after they ask me. So why are they waiting for...
Read moreForgot a crunchwrap and randomly put a few pieces of meat and lettuce on 3 cheesy roll ups. Absolutely shambolic especially after the app failed to take my order 5 times and I had to go inside and key in our 6 person order by hand. Oh yeah, and the whole awful experience cost $45 (including the SIX DOLLAR CRUNCHWRAP they forgot!!). This might honestly be the straw that breaks the camels back for me with this franchise I've loved for so long. Quality has gone down down down while pricea have gone up up up. No other fast food chain forgets items like Taco Bell does. No other fast food chain screws up basic item customizations like Taco Bell does. Absolutely sucks cause it's one of the few veggie/vegan fast food chains, but of course since they screw up the order half the time I guess they shouldn't really count anyway. All three Taco Bells I go to have these issues (here+Huntley and Elgin on Summit) and I know that at least this one is under a different franchisee, so clearly their quality issues run company wide. I will only be frequenting locally owned places from now on or better chains like Chipotle or Qdoba (where at least they can't screw it up since they make it in front of you).
The only member of staff I interacted with was nice and the restaurant looks nice and is clean, but what good does that do me when they screw me out of $10 in missing and messed...
