WORST PIZZA EXPERIENCE EVER. Last night we purchased a Boss pizza. This is a specialty barbeque pizza that we have enjoyed for many years from this location. When the pizza arrived we soon realized that not only was it lacking in sauce but it was overloaded with onions and very light on sausage and worst of all it was undercooked. Since we knew what this should have been, I decided to call in effort to receive a replacement. The woman who answered had a thick middle eastern accent and was somewhat hard to understand. I explained the issue and she offered to make us a new one initially. She said I would need to send a photo to a different number, I was okay with that as you could plainly see the issues. She then asked me if we had eaten any of the pizza. Of course we ate a few pieces (4 to be exact) otherwise we would not have known the issues. She then said she would need the rest of the pizza back and would now sell us another one at 50% off. WHAT??? I said forget it, please just refund our money. This woman said she could not do so as we have eaten off the original pizza but instead could refund us half the purchase price and would still need the rest of the pizza returned. During a time of Covid, she wants the old food back and we would still be out a dinner and half of my money. I have never heard of anything this crazy. When I asked for her name, she replied. We cannot give that information. At this point I was very upset and agreed to the 50% refund. several minutes later, we received a call back stating that they would not give the refund but instead a $10 voucher for a future purchase. You gotta be kidding me! In a nut shell- pizza arrived poorly made. called for a new pizza - replacement was offered but with terms- terms were accepted then terms were changed. Offered us a new pizza for half price. Refund was requested by us. Papa Savarios offered a 50% refund. Reluctantly, we accepted the offer. Offer was changed again to a $10 off coupon on a future pizza. Was out $30 and went to McDonalds for dinner! Do you really think we will ever buy from them again? As a franchise business, this was completely unacceptable service. WE WILL NEVER EAT AT PAPA SAVARIOS AGAIN!

My fiancé had picked up a pizza the other night and bought 2 sodas from the fridge they have in the shop. When I opened my drink and took a sip it was completely flat. I checked both of the dates on the bottles and both were over a month expired. I tried calling after I realized but they were already closed. I called the next day and informed the supposed “manager” on the phone that they were expired and she told me it didn’t matter cause it’s not meat and it’s sugar. I asked if I could have a refund because regardless you shouldn’t be selling expired product in the first place and she told me no and that my fiancé should have checked the date before he bought it. So incredibly rude and uncooperative. I shouldn’t have to check the date on a bottle of soda that I’m buying I would think people with common sense wouldn’t be selling expired products to their customers.

The best Chicago-style thin crust around! The sauce is delicious, and the crust is very slightly overcooked, which gives it a flavor and crispiness that I absolutely love. This has been my favorite thin crust since I was a kid, and it still lives up to that title!

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EVER.

Hands down worst meal I've ever had. Ordered a chicken parm sandwich, deep fried veggies, a Texas Burger, fries, a kids cheeseburger meal, and three cheesecakes just after 8pm last night, and the food was delivered an hour or so later.

The chicken on my chicken parm sandwich was dried out around the edges, like it had been microwaved or something. Like chewing wood. The fried veggies I got were a soggy mess. The side of fries my husband ordered and the fries that came with my son's cheeseburger were flaccid, floppy, and bland. The cheesecakes we ordered were mostly frozen. I can't speak for my toddler's cheeseburger, he wouldn't touch it, but I can say that everything I tasted was either gross or disappointing. My husband did say his Texas burger was okay, though he didn't eat the soggy fries.

After we poked around at dinner and tried to coax or son to eat for a while, we gave up and had to get to bed, it being near 10pm (Papa Savario's closing time) by then.

Although I don't usually call to complain about meals, last night's was so amazingly bad that I did call Papa Savario's to let them know. Since it was too late for us to call last night, I called them the first chance I got, at 11:30 this morning, a half hour after they opened.

After speaking to an employee, I was transferred to some man(?) who was INCREDIBLY rude about the entire situation. Not only did he continually talk over me to assert his disbelief that the food I ordered was actually gross, but repeatedly argued semantics and accused me of lying.

For example, I had said the food was so gross, we didn't eat most of it, then later, when he asked why I hadn't called last night, and I started to explain that "by the time we had finished eating" (yes, guy, we did each try a few bites before deciding it was too unappetizing to continue, except for my husband, whom I already acknowledged ate his burger), it was time to get our one year old son ready for bed, at which point he started insisting I was making things up and changing my story regarding whether or not we ate the food.

Then he fought me on the fact that I said my husband said that his burger had been okay, and my saying that the whole meal was a disappointment. Bro, that meal, AS A WHOLE, was HIGHLY DISAPPOINTING.

Then he argued that, out of an eight piece order, he couldn't comprehend how seven of the items received could've been so bad. Well, dude, you tell me. That's why I'm calling. Because I paid you guys almost fifty dollars for food that sucked, and I want to know why.

And I want to know why whoever that dude I talked to was so rude. Yeah, I did call you a dick on the phone, fella, and I'm sorry I said it (you totally were being one, but I digress). You handled that call SO POORLY, it was amazing. Your attitude and lack of respect were astounding. If the food wasn't enough, you, guy, have assured that I will badmouth the Algonquin Papa Savario's every chance I get.

Horrible, horrible, horrible. You guys should be ashamed. Zero stars. Lots of...

The company that I work for normally orders from here when we have lunch at our team meetings and the owner knows my managers by heart; she thinks they're married in real life, but they're married in business. Since I have a dietary restriction ((I get really congested with I eat dairy)), I never find it hard to find something on the menu that I can't eat. There is a good verity of items for someone like myself and I'm always happy when I can find something to enjoy. I never feel left out during our team meetings when others are having pizza, and I'm always happy with what I get. Plus, I've seen my fellow co-workers go off the grid and get other items that aren't pizza related and I've never heard any of them complain about what they've gotten. This is always the go-to place for our lunches and I always look forward to our meets and getting some of the wonderful...
