Backyard Patio — Restaurant in Lake Jackson

My friend Vanessa pham, that has lived here and owned fancy nails for almost 20 years now, walked over after I convinced her to come. ( she is 45 and never been to a bar before except 5 years ago, I got her to have a drink with me at ricochet and left, but she felt on top of the world excited about having a new experience ...But we got to back yard there was no body to take an order. I just wanted to order a shot and and sprite, let her look around and feel comfortable so we couldaube come back on certain days since behind her work.we waited 15 minutes after 10min... the ppl at the bar said " she had been disappearing and when she comes bk it takes a while because then she is trying to catch up on everyone's drinks". If there would have been a actually (working) bartender maybe things would have went better, but I've know. My friend 17 years and this was the 2nd time I convinced her to leave her normal routine for a couple minutes and it was a complete failure. Went for dinner and a couple of drinks, was told margaritas were 2$ so ordered one..server came back and told me sorry they only had frozen. I guess the bartender can't make one without it being premixed. Changed to a vodka tonic. The server had no idea what that was, so she checked with bartender, then gave me a thumbs up. Was served a vodka & soda water. Friend ordered southwest rolls, said they tasted weird. I ordered the "smoked" chicken Philly. Bread was stale, chicken had the consistency of chicken cooked in a crockpot..zero smoked flavor. Atmosphere was good for Chilling with a beer, just not a spot for...

It was a girls night so we stopped by to try this place because it looked lively. Music, atmosphere, space was good, but no restrooms only porta potties :( the space for the bar was WAY too tight. Of course people sit at the bar, but it’s so small that you can’t really nudge on through and if you try man you are all in someone’s space. The bartenders looked highly stressed. I would come back if there were decent hygienic restrooms and maybe a better bar area. This was a few months back so maybe some things changed?
