Drini Pizza Pasta — Restaurant in Lake Jackson

Could not find what to eat for the life of me. Not too many places to choose from. We figured pizza it is. When we walked in, we realized this is one of those authentic Italian restaurants ( must be home made food/flavors etc) so we actually decided to dine in instead. Place could be updated (which is the only reason for my 4 star rating). Let’s talk about the food, I ordered shrimp fettuccine Alfredo, and he chose the chicken diana. Food came out hot, bread right out of the oven, it was so tasty. I mean delicious. It is hard for me to give a thumbs up to Italian restaurants because a lot are not really authentic or, the flavor is just blah. Not here! This place has great food! We even order a pizza to go. Just could not get enough....

I wanted to give this new place a try, because you never know until you try. My opinion, just average really. I called in an order for a Drini’s pride (supreme) thin crust and Caesar salad. The salad was nothing special, the pizza toppings were undercooked and not nearly enough sauce. Was offered no parmesan or peppers and was not given my full order, I had to remind them what I ordered. I may try again dining in just to see if 2nd...

We went to Drini's for a late lunch. The young lady that took our order was very friendly and gave us nice recommendations. The atmosphere is just not what we were expecting.
