ENJOY TERIYAKI — Restaurant in Lake Oswego

It has been a long time since I’ve gone to a teriyaki restaurant because my wife has resisted it. Our friends wanted to go here and, I was excited, and my wife agreed. We both had the chicken teriyaki lunch special, which come with chicken teriyaki on a bed of white rice, a side of either sweet and sour chicken or three pot stickers, and a small side salad with a house dressing. I just assumed the sweet and sour chicken was what I receive in a Chinese restaurant. Boy was I wrong! It was like way over cooked fried chicken. It was so hard that it was difficult to eat and there was absolutely no sweet or sour flavor. My wife said the pot stickers were soft but did not taste very good. Fortunately, the teriyaki chicken was very good and adding the sauce to the rice made the rice very good. The house sauce on the salad was very good. The lunch special came with a soft drink and the entire lunch was $13.50. The lady behind the counter was very nice but speaks Japanese and very little English. I tried to tell her the chicken was almost inedible but she had no idea what I was saying. We do not live in Portland so there is almost no chance we will eat there again but I would recommend the chicken teriyaki with fried rice, which our friends had and they said it...

Wanted to like this place as it is affordable, but it was truly meh. The gyoza was okay, but the chicken teriyaki was a let down. It didn't taste like anything and needed to be practically drowned in sauce to have any flavor. The gyoza was hot as it is a fried food, but the chicken wasn't. I also really didn't enjoy being served food in to-go containers. I have never been one to eat out of a box, but they don't even offer plates. I didn't come to a restaurant and specify "for here" to eat out of a box. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant, yet the tables next to us remained dirty and were not cleaned the entire duration of the meal. They serve you food in to-go containers and keep large trash cans by the exit for you to essentially buss the table yourself so I don't understand why the tables aren't at least wiped down and kept clean. It wasn't the worst teriyaki I've had, but it wasn't good enough for me to come...

Top notch! Easy, tasty and fast teryaki! Super cheap and huge portions! Big variety of sauces and great lunch and dinner speacials. Had a side of sweet and sour chicken with the sauce on the side and I was so impressed with the chicken! It was the best coated fried type chicken I have ever tasted and perfectly cooked! I can barely wait to go back! The huge "to go orders" come with all the bells and whistles including sauces, lots of napkins and utensils. The owner served us the day I was there and was extremely nice and helpful by anticipating my needs before I even realized it and I never even had to ask. He really pays attention to customers and their needs. 4...
