My newest spot for getting a sushi craving. I don't know where to start but their fish is always so fresh and their service is amazing. Baked mussels: the sauce is sweet with a great savory taste. One of the best I've ever had at a restaurant! Yellowtail collar bento: this is really great and filling. The fish is very meaty but a bit dry. I liked dipping it in the tempura sauce. Shrimp tempura: I literally crave their tempura and their udon. It's an amazing price and a taste. It's lightly fried so it stays crispy and delicious. If you do the mixed veggies it's also really great. Their batter isn't too heavy at all. Their nigiri is the perfect size. Salmon you can't ever go wrong with or their hamachi. We did one of the sushi combos too and it had a great selection. We usually like the rolls with unagi in it. Specially the unagi special. It's my Bf's favorite. Personally I wish it had a crunch in it but it's typically good. We always end up having 1 mistake on our order because the print is very hard to read on their paper ones - but we are never disappointed. The prices can stack up easy but I don't mind coming back here at least once a month to get our sushi fix.

I had been in Sushi business over 7 years not including other kind of restaurants. Umi Sushi in Lake Oswego is the best Japanese restaurant in Oregon. Great quality of fish, perfect balance of taste, reasonable price, and excellent service! I ordered a Chirashi and many other rolls and Nigiris with my family. The Chirashi was outstanding. My kids loved all rolls and Nigiris so that they ordered the same rolls twice. I finally found my favorite Japanese restaurant in Oregon.

Delicious, fresh sushi!! If I’m ever in the area again I will go back!! Atmosphere feels very authentic to the culture! Fabulous service! Easy-to-order form to get what you want. It is quick. Staff is kind and attentive. The waitress was making sure everyone was comfortable and had what they needed. I ordered the California roll, crunch munch and the lion king! All were fantastic with fabulous flavor!

Was excited to find this restaurant while visiting Lake Oswego for work. I liked everything about it. It is a small, unassuming location... But don't let that fool you.

A small bar, maybe just 8 seats but I only needed one. The fish looked fresh and bright. Two sushi chefs working the counter... Both quick and effective. Great knife skills and great technique.

Nice menu selection, a wide range of Nigiri and a great variety of rolls. Spicy mixes were tasty and spicy. They had otoro which made me smile... But I don't think I saw taco which I thought was odd.. maybe I need to go again and check.

Had the otoro, some salmon and some spicy scallop as well as a couple of rolls. Closed out with a spider roll. I didn't see hand rolls nor a favorite of mine salmon skin roll, but will check next time.

Attentive staff, good music playing in the background and the sushi chef had the Jets/Sharks game on his phone that he would glance at from time to time... Didn't ask which team he was rooting for.... Am a Kings fan and didn't want to start an argument with the guy serving me raw fish with a sharp knife

All said, full of great sushi and out the door for under $50, which for me is a minor miracle.

Definitely find this if you are in the neighborhood... I know I...

I have always loved sushi, from my very first ever "starter" piece, the lovely California Roll, about twenty years ago. Since then, I have enjoyed a wide variety, including fried shrimp heads, and I have a special fondness for roe (fish eggs), which more and more sushi places are skimping on these days. Recently, I have developed a tummy problem that only allows me to eat fish (Otherwise I writhe in horrible pain the next day). Don't worry, this is not a "TMI" post, this is a raving review for Umi Sushi! I discovered that I can get it delivered, through DeliveredDish, and I can't get enough of it! I have literally spent hundreds of dollars there over the past couple of weeks, and I can't say enough good things about their food, AND their customer service. If I ask for something extra, I GET extra! Their fish is melt in your mouth fresh, and just as importantly, their rice is so fresh and wonderful it blends in with the roll. Too often I will like a sushi place's fish, but HATE their rice. If the rice is gummy, chewy, or otherwise tastes like it has sat out all day I won't eat it. Umi Sushi is my go-to place for sushi, and I recommend it whole-heartedly!! I can't say enough good...
