If you’re looking for a true local gem with history, heart, and some of the best pizza in town, look no further than Camilli’s This family-owned spot has been serving up delicious pies for over 50 years, and you can taste the tradition in every bite.
One of the things that sets them apart is their signature square-cut pizza—perfectly crisp edges, just the right amount of toppings, and so much easier to eat! Whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or feeding a crowd, the little squares make sharing effortless.
The crust strikes that perfect balance between crispy and chewy, their sauce has a rich, homemade flavor, and the cheese always melts to perfection. They also don’t skimp on toppings—every slice (or square!) is loaded with fresh ingredients.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, just like a classic neighborhood pizzeria should be. The staff treats you like family, and you can tell they take pride in their craft.
If you haven’t tried Camilli’s yet, you’re missing out on a true piece of local history—and some of the best pizza around. Five stars...
Read moreThe selling point of Camilli's is its history and familiarity to multiple generations who have lived in the Lake Park area. It is a basic, family owned and run pizza restaurant that serves pizza cut into squares rather slices. The pizza is good but not the type of fare you'd drive an extra 20 miles and bypass other pizza joints to enjoy. It is just good, and that's about it. The atmosphere is early 60s wood paneling and formica, with one dining area sharing space with a game arcade. It is not a date place by any definition, it is a spot locals go because they always go there, and have gone for many decades. They are known for their tangy salad dressing and a family recipe ziti that is home cooking-good and delicious.
Don't go to Camilli's to eat killer pizza or to experience a spectacular dining experience. Go to share an family hole in the wall seeped in history and to dine where generations of Lake Park locals think of as a...
Read moreI have been enjoying the food from this restaurant since I was a kid. We would enjoy this coming back from high school at the original Suncoast location and my friends even worked in this pizza shop. You will read reviews from out of towners about nonsense like cardboard crust. That person should never be allowed back in this restaurant. This place has been producing amazing food for decades and if you are reading this review you need to simply order something now and try it. If you don't like good Italian food, go to Papa John's or Domino's. You are going to get amazing square cut thin crust pizza and you have to have the pizza with the house dressing. That is just the way it is. Don't be a fool and talk trash about the best pizza they have been producing for 50 years. If you can't eat real pizza don't go to a real...
