They have a sign on the front door saying masks are MANDATORY to come and and be served. They need to research the definition of mandatory. What they mean is they hope you wear it but are too afraid to enforce it. If someone doesn’t wear it they just let them in and serve them anyway. Management got spooked by entitled people making a scene and yelling at staff so now the entitled people are allowed to do what they want on private property and endanger others that actually care and follow rules. Why wouldn’t you just call the police if someone threatened or harassed an employee enforcing a mask policy instead they would rather avoid a scene and allow others to potentially be infected by someone that might not even know they are infected themselves. By the logic that was explained to me by management, I can come in not wearing shoes or a shirt and as long as I refuse to put them on when asked and throw a temper tantrum I’ll still get served and can eat without shoes or a shirt. Leading customers to believe they can come into a business that requires masks only to find out they will be exposed to others acting recklessly and irresponsibly is horribly irresponsible and apathetic of the company. They need to get their priorities straight. Stop letting entitled people make the rules on your own property and enforce your own mask rule or put up a new sign notifying customers that masks are an option so they know what to expect....
Read moreThis is a sad review to share b/c the food is always good. This particular location has got to do better with food handling in this pandemic. The last 3 times we have been there, there have been staff members who do not wear a mask at the cash register which is RIGHT next to the food station. Unbelievable! Today, the cashier was even talking to the food handler next to him - speaking w/o a mask right over the food!! We are in a pandemic with cases rising by the day.
A couple of weeks ago, we came in and saw a young lady bring a stack of bills to the cashier and after handling that stack of money (and we all know that paper bills are riddled with germs), she went and started preparing sandwiches. IT WAS VERY DISTURBING TO WATCH! I immediately spoke up and asked her to change her gloves before making my sandwich and she did comply. WHY IS THAT NOT THE STANDARD?!?!
Needless to say, three strikes and it's a wrap for my family. We will not be returning to this location. There are not enough basic standards being met, especially as families are trying to remain healthy in this pandemic. I am hoping that the owner and management team can work with the entire team there to ensure everyone is properly trained for basic covid-19...
Read moreDo not go to this Jimmy John's on Ronald Reagan drive. I asked for two veggie slims like I have asked at other JJs literally hundreds of times and they kept asking each other behind the counter what was on it. I figured they were new. I wasn't listening completely as how can you screw up a veggie sandwich? When I got home with my two veggie sandwiches they only were, two Slim 6's with just cheese, they said. They argued with me that I didn't ask for a veggie sandwich but a slim 6. I did not. I asked for two slim veggie sandwiches. I don't even know the number. Weirdly dumb workers here. Go at your own risk.
Also, the review says what it says. When I clicked on the link to, I guess, tell the owner, it took me to an elaborate multi-page Jimmy John's page that wanted everything but my response and my ssn. Please. I'm not giving my home address, phone number, life story, blah blah blah to drill down to some more response you want. Take your business more seriously. Get this crew together, ask them if they wrestled with whether I said Slim 6 (I did not) or 'veggie sandwich". So if this is how JJs is run, I'm not going back to...
