Chicken Drive-In — Restaurant in Lake Stevens

I am so disappointed in this restaurant, I have been coming here for years and never have I ever gotten old food. Last night a guy friend of mine offered to buy us dinner, so right before they closed he ordered us a fish and chicken baskets not only was are food so crammed packed in a tiny paper bag that was ripping down the side and my Fry's were mushy because they were being smashed but my fish was very old, I found it very odd because there food is always fresh, so someone ordered it and changed there mind and I ended up with it hours later,why? because they didn't want to waste it?...Well that's bull**! 30 dollars we spent for what we ordered, I couldn't bring it back because they were closed by the time I realized the fish was old, so I went in the next day to complain and the Chinese lady tried to tell me they don't make it until u order it, which is why I found it odd that I ended up with old fish, she argued with me and then walked away shutting the window on me. Wow great customer service. I couldn't believe it, instead of offering me a new fish basket your going shut your window on me. Wow, you do know you need customers to run a business right? just in case you guys didn't know but they don't wear gloves when handling the already cooked food. I watched the Chinese lady touch her hair and face and then grab a bun BAREHANDED to make a burger. That's disgusting. I will never be eating at the chicken drive...

We've been going to the Viking/Chicken for 20 years. Good burgers, great milkshakes. But, I'm temporarily boycotting them, I'm sure I'll return some time. Last week when we got home we realized they forgot the french fries. No big deal, this happens occasionally with fast food. We called them to let them know, but no answer and voice mailbox was full. Went back the next day and explained and asked for the fries we were not given the day before. They refused and said we should have returned yesterday in person. We explained it wasn't possible and we tried to call. Very strange that they would suggest regular customers would all of the sudden try to steal $1.69 fries. Maybe since they are very busy now they are trying to reduce the amount of customers. The line typically blocks 20th st. at lunchtime and early evenings. This theory seems to make the most sense for their odd customer...

Fries were bomb; both curly and the regular crinkly and they were super hot and fresh. I had a hamburger and it was decent, nothing to write home about but nothing to complain about. I was happily content. My husband got the grilled chicken blt and he thought it was satisfactory. What we really liked was the customer service, they were just AWESOME...we lingered just looking at the massive menu forever and they were just awesome. My husband also got the chicken nuggets and says they are way better than McDonald's and a bit spicier and he even ate the rest cold when we got home. :) We wished we had tried the jalapeño poppers or fried mushroom caps but we will be back. Oh! Their tarter sauce IS something to write home about--super good!! Tons of dill and a bit of the pickle vinegar, soooo bomb on the fries! My husband also loved...
