You know what, the food was pretty good actually. The cooks know what they're doing and the staff try their best.
But I worked here a spell part time two years ago, until the owner simply stopped sending me schedules, ignored my texts and calls, and never got around to giving me my last paycheck. I was a college student with a weird schedule, but the owner knew that before hiring me. Never had the decency to tell me I was fired.
By all means support a local business, but take your money somewhere that tries to be a good business for customers AND employees. If it seems like employee morale is low, like they don't want to be there, or they seem inexperienced, it's probably because management doesn't care about them, and it's probably a revolving door of new hires as the old ones finally have enough and quit, or like my case, are "fired".

First the food is good. Really good. Now on to the bad. The cashier was terrible. It was like talking to a robot that isn't paying attention to what you are saying. My order was incomplete and wasn't modified the way I asked. But I wasn't charged either so it's fine. I'm guessing my order was wrong because the cashier had an earpod in and was on his phone between the customers in line.
Secondly, the website says that all sandwiches come with fries. The sign at the cash register says that only value meals come with fries.
Lastly, I was charged a small fee for paying with a card. In the age of COVID, charging for card use is absurd. Paying with cards protects both employees and customers and should be encouraged.
All in all, while the food was delicious, there were too many missteps and I would not...

Me and my friend went into the restaurant to order two Maxwell pork chop sandwiches. My friend and I asked for mild sauce for his fries. The short older Caucasian woman around in her 50’s -60’s ignored my friend of his request. My friend asked for the mild sauce and she threw it on the counter. When my order came up I too asked for mild sauce the woman ignored me as well. The young lady that worked there heard my request and handed me some , the older woman came back and in a mean spirited voice said the next time we coming back she charging me and my friend.
