I'm not sure why but this Subway is charging anywhere between $2.00 and $2.50 more than other Subway shops. When ordering this through their app I was wondering why my sub sandwiches were $2.50 more at this Subway than at any other, I ordered the same subs, this one is charging higher prices so that turned me off. In an era where we're trying to save our money and get the best deals but this place is charging too much. And the guy that works the night shift he doesn't put the good amount of veggies that you're supposed to he's very sparing with the vegetables you literally have to tell him to put more veggies on. I've never seen anyone put only four tomato slices on a footlong??🤷. Or four cucumbers on a footlong??🤷 So when I asked for some more veggies he gave one of those looks. 😡😠 I understand that these places are franchise stores and that they have to try and make money to stay afloat, but that's not our problem that they're a franchise and they have to pay Subway those high franchise fees and for all of their food, that's the chance you take when you go in business with others. Also the lack of bread options is disturbing. It's down to white or wheat now, once in awhile they have the Parmesan oregano bread but that's only once in a while. What happened to all the different breads they used to have?? so yeah this place was disappointing. If you want to pay more money than go here if you want to pay less the Subway at 47th and Cicero is charging less. The two same subways that I ordered here were $2 more than the one at the 47th Street and Cicero and any other Subway I go to... They're putting less and less condiments on the sub sandwiches than ever to save A Buck yet they're charging more money here. I won't be coming back here. The Subway at 47th and Cicero is open 24 hours., also the Subway at 119th and Cicero is open 24 hours. The Subway at 80th and Cicero is open 24 hours. But watch that guy on midnights he too gives you the look when you asked for extra condiments and mumbles under his breath that you have to pay more. But at least they're not overcharging like...
Read more07/16/2023 Me and my daughter walked into this subway. Immediately after walking inside you did not get a greeting. One employee I’ll say around 5’7 probably a white Hispanic or white. Clearly gave me and my daughter one of the awful nasty looks it was. Now clearly I see maybe she was in resting face. Unique looking should I say. Never asked if could she help us or anything. So I walked up to the counter when a short dark hair Indian lady came from the back. She didn't greet either just looking until I said hello and I got a response from the Indian lady. Now I refuse to spend my money where the energy is off and of course, after I saw the First Lady had on some filthy gray jogging pants under her stomach and just looked extremely unclean for handling open food. I would never step foot in that low-vibration place for anything. And of course, I discovered flies are flying everywhere and nothing was covering anything. I'm not telling anyone not to go inside I just want to tell what we...
Read moreThe place is relatively new the business does not appear to pick up. A slow business is always a sign that something is not right! I bought a couple of sandwiches, three to be exact. They were all 6" The gentle man immediately reached for old bread. I asked to kindly give me fresh bread and although he said he had, it was not!! So old in fact that as soon as I took the first bite it crumbled, it was dry and old. I don't recommend them! It was very dishonest of him!! I will never return! Gave them another chance still selling old bread! It is upsetting when you pay for a meal you will enjoy, so unfortunate!
I do recommend they pay attention to their business model, for it feels that in an attempt to cut their loss, they are surely making the situation worst by offering inedible food, which I had to dispose of. I felt like returning but it is not worth my trouble or my gas, I had already lost enough!!!
Take the bread loss or you will lose...
