A Gastronomic Odyssey at Amici: Where Arancini Dreams Come True! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Prepare your taste buds for a rollercoaster of delight at Amici, Chicago’s newest culinary gem that takes arancini to a whole new level! From the moment I walked in, I knew I was in for a treat. The ambiance was warm, the staff incredibly friendly, and the aroma of freshly fried arancini wafted through the air, promising a feast for the senses.
Let’s talk about the Prosciutto Arancini - it was like biting into a piece of heaven wrapped in a crispy, golden shell. The prosciutto brought a salty, savory punch that perfectly complemented the creamy risotto inside. Each bite was a symphony of flavors that left me craving for more. I swear, I heard my taste buds applauding!
And then there was the Birria Arancini - a fusion masterpiece that deserves a standing ovation! The tender, flavorful birria meat encased in that crispy arancini shell was nothing short of magic. It was as if the culinary gods themselves came down to create this divine masterpiece. One bite, and I was transported to flavor town, my friends!
What truly sets Amici apart, besides their mouthwatering creations, is the passion and creativity they infuse into every dish. The chef’s dedication to the art of arancini is evident in every bite, making it a gastronomic adventure worth embarking on.
The service was as delightful as the arancini themselves, with the staff’s knowledge and enthusiasm shining through. They guided us through the menu with humor and charm, making our take out experience not just delicious but also incredibly enjoyable.
In a city known for its diverse culinary scene, Amici manages to stand out brilliantly. It’s the kind of place where food becomes an experience, and each bite tells a story. So, if you’re a food enthusiast, an arancini aficionado, or just someone looking for an unforgettable escapade, do yourself a favor and head to Amici. Be prepared to indulge, be amazed, and possibly fall in love – with arancini and Amici....
Read moreVisited here with my family during a trip to Chicago recently! After seeing Keith Lee's review over on TikTok my family knew we absolutely had to go check it out for ourselves! And boy are we glad we did 😁👍🏼🙌!!! The store was very clean upon walking in, the floors were spotless and the tables sparkling ✨️! We were very quickly welcomed and asked if we knew what we wanted to order and we said we needed a moment to look over the menu, the worker told us to feel free to ask him if we had any questions about a dish or possible substitutions that could be made 😊! My family asked a ton of questions and were given very passionate responses and were not judged in the slightest 👌🏻! My family placed our orders and waited patiently for our food which wasn't super fast but also truly didn't take to long when all things were said and done 😀! Our food was absolutely to die for and was beyond our expectations (which were already super high after Keith Lee's TikTok review). I could eat every night out at this place and still never be bored of the food 😅! The prices were also not that bad for a family of 4 in Chicago 😊👍🏼! The customer service we got was well above the average my family's used to back home! All in all we are extremely greatful to Keith Lee showing us this diamond in the ruff restraunt, and will without a doubt be running back drooling the next time we visit Chicago 🤤!!! BIG THANK YOU to everyone working at Amici in Chicago 😊, you were one of the top highlights of my family's trip and we can not wait to come back for seconds!...
Read moreThe staff was very helpful with descriptions and advising of options. I decided to try the arancini, choosing both a Dorowattino and a Birriancino. Each comes with a side of fries OR pasta salad. I chose the pesto to complement the Dorowattino and the house italian for thr Birriancino, and both were perfection. I appreciate the clear labeling of the food. The Dorowattino had a milder flavor, a distinct seesaw of sweet and savory and the pesto tied them together. The Birriancino was much bolder and richer in flavor, so the acidity of the italian pasta was able to match the greater intensity. The pasta salads were not at all necessary, as the arancini definitely were able to stand on their own, but they were a nice touch and different from typical sides. I also tried the cucumber juice (bright and refreshing on its own) and mixed it with the lemonade (a brilliant flavor combo for washing down the strong flavors of the food.) They do accommodate eating in, but the stools aren't very comfortable. It was a bit of a counter point to a place called "Friends" to not be more of a comfortable spot to something so...comforting. Especially when the staff was so friendly. The bathroom definitely needs a deep clean and some spider web removal, but I am grateful that it was available in such a tiny spot. Overall enjoyable treat, I...
