Omakase on me — Restaurant in Lake View Township

This was my first Omakase experience, and they set the bar high. The setting was private and intimate with just 9 people, but it still had a lively, fun, almost party-like vibe. never awkward to sit next to strangers. The atmosphere struck the perfect balance, not overly formal, which made it easy to chat with the chef and others around me, while still feeling special and unique.

And the food absolutely amazing! Every dish tasted fresh, carefully curated, and beautifully presented. The penang curry with wagyu beef and the fatty salmon with tamarind sauce were the best!! Easily some of the best flavors I’ve ever experienced!

Overall, it was such a fun and memorable evening, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality yet approachable...

This is an interesting omakase spot that is great for groups and those who want to experience a sushi omakase without the stuffyness than can be associated with it. There is more of a party vibe here that results in the sushi chef being interactive with the patrons.

In addition, the sake never stops flowing. With that being built into the price, I would highly recommend finding somewhere else to dine if you don't plan on drinking.

Sushi wise, the fish was fresh and there were no complaints. The rice was also very nicely seasoned. The other dishes were very well composed and flavorful. I really have no complaints on the food. Inspired a very crabby middle-aged woman to sing Karaoke on a Monday night. Five stars.

I don’t take pics of restaurants, I don’t take pics of food, and I haven’t sang Karaoke since Cancun mid 2000s. Bottom line I don’t have fun right now in my life because all I do is work. I didn’t want to go to this- 7 pm ON A MONDAY? But my sweet partner made reservations for a date night so alas Monday night here I come. I didn’t know what to expect but it exceeded all my expectations. The two guys running it were amazing and hysterical. Food was incredible and midway through we ended up singing karaoke and I TOOK PICTURES. My cranky dark overworked soul was healed a little on this dreary Monday night....
