I finally stopped by Taco Maya, and it was totally worth the wait! It just opened around the corner from me, and I’d been looking forward to trying it out. The moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted—the staff were kind, helpful, and genuinely welcoming.
I couldn’t decide what to get, so I asked for a recommendation, and the staff member suggested the Nashville Hot Chicken taco and the Chicken Tikka taco—both were incredible. Super flavorful, fresh, and satisfying.
They also have a salsa bar with a variety of sauces to customize your tacos—huge bonus! And the price point is amazing—I got two tacos, rice, and beans for just $5. Great portions and quality for such an affordable price.
Even though I got takeout, I noticed the interiors were cute and intentional, with a cozy vibe that makes it a nice spot to dine in too. Wait time was under 5 minutes, which was a pleasant surprise!
Can’t wait to go back and try more. This place is definitely going into my regular rotation. Highly recommend if you’re...

Samosa Taco: A fun fusion twist! Crispy, spiced, and satisfying—like a street food party wrapped in a tortilla. Veggie Taco: Fresh and flavorful, with just the right balance of crunch and zest. A great pick for plant-based eaters. Chicken Taco: Juicy and well-seasoned, with a smoky kick that made it stand out. Shrimp Taco: The star of the show! Perfectly cooked shrimp with a tangy, slightly spicy sauce that had me wishing I'd ordered two.
The atmosphere was lively, the staff friendly, and the service quick. Whether you're a taco traditionalist or love a twist, Taco Maya delivers. I’ll definitely be back to explore more of their menu.

However, the service was weird. After I paid my bill and started to walk over to the salsa station, the server took the printed receipt and said to the two other workers “Look at this!” And they all started laughing. I can only assume that it was because I selected no tip, given that I was already paying over $18 for 3 tacos TO GO. Jeez, way to make someone feel unwelcome.
If Corporate is reading this, your food is good but your service leaves a lot to desire. There’s a ton of good Mexican food in the area and I doubt I’ll be back. Also, tell your staff not to use their cell phones while making our food. Not a good vibe when you’re waiting for over 15 minutes in an...
