We don't recommend this place due to very poor communication, execution and problem resolution skills. We went to this location lured by the empty outdoor tables on a sunny Saturday two weeks ago. We were seated quickly. Our server, Andrew, came to take our drink orders 15 minutes later. My spouse asked if the tables- which were dirty- could be cleaned. 5 minutes later Andrew showed up with couple of paper napkins to dry-wipe the tables. Thankfully we had some hand sanitizers with us. Andrew showed up with iced teas after 5-10 minutes. While putting one of the plastic glasses on the table, he carelessly placed it on the edges of two connected tables, causing the glass to fall over and spill all its content over the table and on us. Instead of rushing to get some help or towel or napkins, our waiter attended another table for couple of minutes. When he showed up again he had a couple of paper napkins to clean up the mess. We did most of the cleaning. Now at the 30 minute mark we were able to get our orders in, or so we thought. 45-50 minutes after our arrival, we asked how much more we'll be waiting. Andrew told us that the kitchen may not have had our order to start with and he'll go and check. When we started asking questions we understood that he was actually telling us that they "had lost our order". Frustrated by close to 1 hour of waiting, tasteless ice tea and clumsy table service, we asked to speak with the manager. Apparently, Andrew was in charge that day as well. With one other waiter they claimed that they were understaffed that day. There weren't many customers in the restaurant, however. From our observations of Andrew's inattentive and unhurried behavior, unemphatic attitude and poor communication during our nearly one hour stay, we can only conclude that they have a very poor service here or (even worse and sadly) some kind of...
Read moreD'Agostino's Pizza and Pub in Wrigleyville isn't just a place to grab a bite; it's an experience steeped in the charm of Chicago's North Side. Located a stone's throw away from the iconic Wrigley Field, the ambiance captures the passionate spirit of local Cubs fans.
The welcoming atmosphere, with its cozy seating and memorabilia-clad walls. The dim lighting and rustic interiors offer a nostalgic journey reminiscent of classic Chicago pizzerias.
Coming to the food, D'Agostino's deep-dish pizza is the star of the show. Each slice is a generous layering of gooey cheese, fresh toppings, and a perfectly baked crust. The sauce, with its rich tomatoey goodness, complements the flavors beautifully. While pizza is the main attraction, don't miss out on their range of appetizers, salads, and pasta dishes. The garlic knots, in particular, are a must-try.
Service at D'Agostino's is top-notch. The staff, with their friendly smiles and prompt service, make sure you feel at home.
Is a must-visit when in the area. Whether you're gearing up for a Cubs game or simply craving authentic Chicago-style pizza, this place...
Read morePizza is great but I now understand why the place was empty. Service was the worst I've seen anywhere in a long time and it's a shame because their pizza is good. I think our server forgot about us. She gave us our drinks and came back to take our food order 40 minutes later. Yes that's not a typo. 40. No biggie whatever. Order our food and comes out in 15 minutes. Was great pizza. Then we played the waiting game for another 40ish minutes to even be able to ask for the check. God forbid if either of us wanted another drink at anytime during this almost 2 hour fiasco. Finally get the check and pay and at that time the server took maybe 30 seconds to come back with it finished. Honestly pretty terrible experience and like I said it's a shame because their pizza is good. Their kitchen has got it together but the servers don't seem to. And I wish I could cut you guys some slack here, but the place was empty with only 4-5 tables filled. If you want pizza from...
