Mixteco Grill (North Center) — Restaurant in Lake View Township

Wow! This place is amazing. I saw a post on a local FB group (for the Lakeview location) talking about how fast Mixteco is, so I tried the one on Irving. Both times I've ordered from them, my food has been ready in under 5 mins! I make sure to place my order after I'm already in the car. I ordered the fiesta bowl and it was great!

The first time, it seemed to have added cilantro so the next time I ordered I left a note for no added cilantro (it tastes like soap to me 😭) and they followed the instructions while also completing my order in under 3 minutes. I don't know how they do it! I'll also say that their rice which is described as lime and cilantro rice is the only option, but i didn't have any issues with it. It would be nice to be able to order alternative rice without cilantro for those who are more sensitive to the taste.

I was super happy when a worker asked if I wanted to sign up for toast rewards because I will be here at least weekly.

95% of the time you get it right but today it was wrong. I ordered a bowl without cilantro but it was covered in cilantro. I was going through my bowl, picking out the cilantro when I came across this chonky piece of questionable vegetable. I seriously don't know what this is but it shouldn't have been put in my bowl. Was very pleased with my chicken tinga burrito. Will happily go there again. It was quick and easy to order and we got our food within 5 mins.
