Best coffee in Chicago. Full stop. Their lattes are incredible -- the make all their own syrups in-house and you can taste the difference. The mocha is not overly sweet like at most places, but rich, chocolatey, and deeply flavored. But the greatest drink of all-time is the Charlatte: espresso with steamed milk, coconut milk, honey, and a dash of cayenne pepper (yes, cayenne). Just slightly sweet, with a little bite. It is perfect. I have yet to try their food items, as they were not yet available when I went, but I have full confidence. Plus, the owner and his staff are insanely nice people and incredibly knowledgeable. Having known Tim from the original Pedestrian location (in a large suburban office building), I can say that having made his acquaintance, I know a LOT more about coffee than I ever have. The guy knows his stuff and the proof is in the cup." As I said. Best...

But regardless, for non caffeine lover Nutella hot coco is fire 🔥 & also I believe you can do tea lattes but idk if they have any decaf. I ordered I plain tea once and it was so minty, I don’t like mint so I was confused. Idk 🤷♀️. As for food get a raspberry cheesecake, got a little lemon zing to it, and cutely wrapped. 4/5 ⭐️ The blackberry scone was pretty good if you like a nice tea flavor & fresh big blackberries. 4/5 ⭐️ YOU MUST TRY A SOURDOUGH CINNAMON ROLE, SO UNIQUE! you may not love em especially sometimes there’s too much cinnamon & a bit more cream cheese in the icing & more icing lol. But wow, it’s good. I’d say this...

Beans are great - lighter roasts mainly but well-rounded for those who enjoy med roasts. Very reasonably priced beans. Pourovers are quite consistent regardless who's doing the shift.
Seats fill up quickly but it's never loud. Usually student/working crowd. Perfect for lowkey chats and they have a window service even in winter for people walking their dogs.
Taste, atmosphere, and pricing all very reasonable and appealing to most. Even their music selection is quite good.
Please don't...
