WARNING! ⚠️ YOU WILL LOSE MONEY IF YOU ORDER HERE! This Popeyes location keeps their door closed all day and refuses to serve anyone. They are only open for 2 hours a day during the afternoon and then they lock their doors and stop serving customers -- even through drive thru.
If you order through the app YOU WILL LOSE YOUR MONEY. Popeyes app DOES NOT DO REFUNDS, FOR ANY REASON WHATSOEVER. You only get $15 store credit, no matter what amount your order was, even if it was $40 like mine was. And you can't even use the $15 like a balance, you can only redeem it for one order and that's it.
I placed a mobile order here and it was only 7pm, the store doesn't close until 1am, it says that on their front doors, website & here on Google maps. And the doors were locked, so I walked up to the drive through, and it was just an Indian guy with glasses who kept nodding his head "no". I was showing him the order on my phone screen and raising my voice so he could hear me through the window to tell him "I already placed this order" and he finally opened the window and told me in broken English "gonna have to cancel utt" and I told him there is no option to cancel it, and asked why he wouldn't give me my order and he just kept saying "no. no. no. you gonna canceled it. we are close" and I said "no you guys don't close until 1am, and there's no sign saying you guys are closed early" and he just continued gesturing with his arms and head saying "no" and then shut the window in my face and walked into the back room where I couldn't see him anymore.
I ended up speaking to the manager at this location about this incident, and she told me that because there's alot of new immigrants working at this location, they can't really speak any english or read any english either, so they're purposely locking the doors and simply refusing to serve customers because they can't even read the order or communicate with customers.
She told me that whenever it's their shift, they'll just lock the doors and windows and refuse to take orders. She even seemed disturbed about it as well. And I told her that there's just no way any of that can be true, nor would this location hire them to begin with. And unfortunately she told me that they're forced to hire them, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.
And this pretty much explains why this location sucks, has so many bad reviews, and why this place is always refusing to serve customers even 6 hours before closing time.
And I can confirm that I've complained numerous times, I've sent emails, spoke to support through the app, and all they tell me is that "we appreciate your feedback and your input matters to us, we are looking into this matter. Thank you, we're always looking to improve" and blah blah. Same old automated email responses. I've complained a total of 9 times throughout the last 3 months and nothing has changed, nothing has improved, and these employees aren't even fired and still continue to work here and scam customers out of their hard earned money.
If you are lucky and you come here when the manager is working, you may get lucky. But it's a gamble. Most of the time when you come here it'll always be these Indian guys who don't speak any english and refuse to maks your order and give it to you. There is also another Indian guy who speaks a little English, and he will always tell you "we ran out of chicken. we are closed."
And it'll only be like 5pm or 9pm (these are the 2 times this happened to me) and he was literally telling me to my face at the drive thru window that they were out of chicken, when I could clearly see a bunch of chicken behind him on the racks. I pointed to it and said "how?! there's literally chicken right there" and then he'd just make up another excuse and say "yes but are no buns" and I'd tell him "ok forget the sandwich, just give me only chicken instead, whatever you guys have" and he told me "no... sorry... i cant." and i told him "so that's it? im just scammed out of my $12?" and he said "no no, just cancel order"
Go here if you wanna be...
Read moreThis is the worse location of a Popeyes I have ever been to! Do not order from here you most likely will not get your order which has happened to me twice
I ordered food from here on the app for pickup. My order said it was received and would be ready for pickup soon. Upon my arrival to pick up my food the location had a sign on the door stating that they were temporarily closed.
When I realized I quickly went to the app to get a refund for my order so that I could buy food somewhere else for the evening. Upon trying to get a refund I was informed that that would not be an option. The best option was for me to get store credit for $20 when my food cost $20.46. I understand its just 46 cents, but how am not going to get my money back and also not get a credit for the exact amount?
Popeyes explain to me where my money has gone that is not longer refundable to my wallet! After sending several emails back and forth with their automated email service I was informed that I would be matched with a representative.
The representative did get to me until 3 days after the order was made! Then I was told that I needed to take a picture of the closed sign on the door! It was three days ago! If I had been connected with a representative upon the time of the closure I could have taken a photo. However, no I didn't think to take a picture of the sign when I saw it. I though this location would cancel my order. Why are they inside happy to take my money and then put a closed sign on the door? This location should have canceled the order I don't understand why the order went through in the first place.
Today I am told by the representative that I will be getting my refund. I do hope that I will. This is as stated in the email a "one time courtesy". You are a fast food restaurant that many people count on who don't have the money to buy two dinner in one night. This should be an easy automated job that I should not have needed a representative for in the first place. Train your AI better to handle a refund process. This location should never have taken the order in the first place but for the process to take me 3 days is crazy!
Popeyes was one of my favorite restaurants for something fast, but if this is the policy, no thank you, I will give someone else my money where in return I get a meal. The policy should not be when things wrong you get a store credit for less than what you paid or a refund days later after many emails back and forth. I will never be eating here again. This location is a waste of space....put in a...
Read moreAs a Dasher for Doordash, I can honestly say that I have never, in my multiple deliveries from this location, had anything remotely resembling a pleasant experience. The absolute lack of respect in this establishment is unheard of. Just last night between 9 and 10PM, I had two orders from this specific Popeyes, so let me detail my experience for you all.
Delivery 1: Guy orders chicken tenders, a biscuit, and a drink. This meal is not prepped at all by the time I get to popeyes, and no one even acknowledges an order was made. I ask the female cashier if she could please get the chicken tenders for my customer, and she rolls her eyes and says "we don't have chicken sandwiches." I reply "great, but I asked for chicken tenders." She replies "we don't have those" as she has a literal mountain of tenders and nuggets behind her. Not wanting to cause a scene, I respectfully decline and call my Doordash customer and explain to him that Popeyes has notified me that they ran out of the food that he wants. Customer says "no worries," and we move on with our lives, me hanging up in embarrassment.
Delivery 2: this delivery happens immediately after the one above. Customer orders chicken tenders, biscuit, and a premium strawberry lemonade drink. Here we go. Now I enter and see this: one gentleman who is supposed to be working the drive thru but is just standing around doing nothing, the same female cashier telling multiple DD Dashers that nothing is available, and another gentleman who is cleaning the floors. The two individuals who are not working ask the other dude who is cleaning the floors if he can take my order. This guy comes over and barely peeks at my order before bringing me chicken tenders, but no biscuit or drink. I ask him for those and he returns with a biscuit, still no drink. I ask for the drink, and he replies "we don't have that," to which I reply "seems like you guys don't have anything. Can I at least have some sort of drink for my customer?" He concedes and hands whatever to drink. Long story short, I deliver the meal to my customer letting her know that the drink is wrong and I cannot even be certain that everything for her order is there.
Point of this venting, this Popeyes is horrible. The staff doesn't care. No one seems to read any of the 1 star reviews on this Google review page, so what's the point of even leaving reviews. Omit this place if you desire to have a pleasant day, because this is where pleasant...
