For the most part, I have a decent experience using the Starbucks app at several of their locations. It helps to save time and helps with the accuracy of my order. Every now and then you can get the odd mistake or long wait because they misplaced the order but that is a rarity at most locations. However, I’ve had repetitive issues with this particular Starbucks location. I’ve even gone back several times giving them another chance in the hopes that they have improved or fixed their problems. Unfortunately, that is not the case. If you are reading this and plan on going to this location, there are a few things you should know.
This is predominately a drive thru location and there is no interior store for customer use. There is a walk-up window to use but if you use their parking lot expect to get stuck going through the drive thru line anyways. The design and layout of this location is horrible and in a very dangerous location especially with all the traffic nearby.
The staff here has several issues: a) They have no sense of urgency as the lines are always long with very slow service. b) Whenever I politely ask for them to correct an order the staff act as if it’s a burden on them. c) They are very unorganized and never seem to know what’s going on. d) They are more concerned with talking to each other than helping the customer. e) Lack of friendliness and hospitality.

Read moreMy experience at this store is not the greatest the only time I go in here it's during the day light hours... I go there four or five times a month as I have a doctor in the same building.
The store is in uptown the neighborhood is still in the state of flux..... some of the characters in there are rather strange ....some are obviously homeless sleeping or sitting on the floor.... some sit there rocking back and forth talking to themselves and giving me strange looks.... several times I've had to move while I'm enjoying my drink to avoid these unsavory characters
ever since the well-publicized lawsuit because somebody was charged with loitering their policy now is not to ask any of these characters to leave... they scare the customers and take up room where paying customers could sit... there was a shooting several months ago in the late evening hours at Broadway and Lawrence I believe bullets went through the window I would never go into this neighborhood at night as gentrification is not complete........
the Baristas? some are good some are not so good I'm being generous here.... my favorite drink is a chocolate chip Frappuccino that runs me about 10 bucks after I add my shots and whatnot I usually mobile order on the app and on too many occasions my order has not even been started because the Barista wanted to ask me a question about my order !!!! hoo-wee..... pain in the a**. That defeats the purpose of the app!

My cup was given to me a quarter empty, had I not been on the way to work with a line running into traffic behind me I would’ve asked for a full cup. Drinking it felt violating — like I was finishing someone else’s cup! 😭 This is the closest starbucks to my house by a landslide but this was just too disrespectful to return (photo taken immediately after pulling away). It didn’t dawn on me how bogus this was until I went to another Starbucks today and was sipping my coffee for 15 minutes before it got to this level.
