Such a cute bakery! I was greeted right away (and I'm not too sure if the man is someone who works there or not, but I'm assuming so as he helped me with my things since my hands were very much occupied). I picked up 4 seasonal cookies: 3 snowman sugar cookies and a gingerbread man cookie. We conversated briefly in Spanish as another man checked me out and bagged my sweets. Upon arriving home, I took a bite out of the two different cookies and WOW. So so delicious! I'm very happy with my experience. I was greeted, helped, and was informed on their ingredients. Rest assured, I will most definitely return! (As I have the biggest sweet tooth). Thank...

Read moreFantastic find! Rudy has been baking for 47 years, and his pastries are amazing. The bakery is in an unassuming storefront in Roscoe Village, but don't let the front door stop you. You will find delicious food for about half the price of a fancy bakery or coffeehouse in the same neighborhood.
I highly recommend the turnovers, almond croissants, and the doughnuts. Honestly, everything I bought was enjoyed by someone, those are the only ones I tried! He bakes all day,so something will have come out of the oven whenever you go in.
Support a long time small visit, and stop by the next time you want...
