El Rucon Dixie — Restaurant in Lake Worth Beach

Woah why haven't I been eating here since they opened!? Just saw this place on @ggthriveguide on Instagram and went for lunch with my lady. I got the Especial which was 3 Birria tacos served with consom'e for $12.36 and it was AMAZING! My lady got 3 Chorizo tacos for $9.24 and they were excellent as well!! We got a guava Boing and a mandarin Jarrito for drinks and they have a wide variety of other flavors along with Mexican Coke's and Aguas Frescas. They even have Caf'e Con Leche! They did an amazing job on the interior and even have a couch and led sign, the perfect spot to snap a family photo for your socials. (Don't forget to tag them!) The booths are big and the tables long, with plenty of room to spread out for a work lunch or sit with your whole family. This location has been open for about 5 months now I think, and they deserve the support 100 percent! They have a men's & women's bathroom, both VERY CLEAN. The girl at the front was extremely kind and helpful, and cook was more than accommodating with our order. A+ for El Rucon from us, and we will be back! Thank you so much for the truly wonderful...

I had ordered a hot dog and nacho fries 30 min before closing through uber eats. I was tracking my driver. He had went to the restaurant to pick up my order then i get a call from the restaurant. I was told the kitchen had closed early. that I’d have to cancel my order to receive my money back. but for the inconvenience they would make my order the next day for free. I called the next day and was told i’d have to pay. i did explain to them the whole story. I don’t have an issue with paying. the nice lady on the phone was speaking to her manager. and i could hear him talking. So because i got my money back he won’t do it. I was surprised when i was told the night before that id get my meal for free. No one cares about customer service anymore. What’s one customer to a whole city...

Very disappointed. Ordered birria taco special , birra ramen and pollo tacos at the Lake Worth location….to go. They claim to be “Mexican Fast Food” but our order took more than 35-minutes. The Birria tacos were decent, had to wade through way too much cilantro covering everything. The birra raman was HORRIBLE, the noodles were totally mush, terribly starchy, overcooked and tasted like they were sitting in a heated pot for hours, truly inedible threw it out. The pollo tacos were also disappointing, very little meat, overflowing with an excessive amount of lettuce. Also don’t look for a bargain here, tab was $57 after tip. Hey I like to see small, unique eateries thrive, but these guys need to polish up their act if they want to...
