This restaurant is new, though offering the same kind of cuisine as the previous owners. Having been a regular here under previous owners, my expectation was that the quality of service and food would remain the same. Realistically are different, because this is a different restaurant.
When they first re-opened a few months ago, service was terrible. Food came out slow. They didn’t have things often. Waitress was not on point. Had to ask for things 2x. Food portions were different, and my faves weren’t prepared/presented in the same way. I was disappointed in the service. But the food was good, flavorful and tasty so I went back.
Each time, things got better. There’s a male waiter in particular who is excellent. He knows his customers, he’s friendly, he gets it right the first time and he is attentive and fast. The food was good before but is great now (this menu and these cooks are actually better than the previous IMO). Plating and presentation is much better. Portions are fuller. Each plate has everything is says it will.
Very happy to see this place getting better. It’s not fancy at all. Very low brow and casual. The music is good and amusing to me. The food is delicious. The service is improving. Will continue to eat here and support local business, understanding things can be...
Read moreThis restaurant is amazing! I just went here for the first time yesterday with my mom and my aunties and had so many different delicious dishes! I’m so glad that there’s a Filipino restaurant in Palm Beach County that’s near my hometown of Delray Beach finally. For those familiar with Filipino dishes, the pancit and sisig were my personal favorites, but all the other dishes were still very delicious including the grilled squid, lechon, kare kare, and siningang. For those who have never tried Filipino food, I highly recommend trying this restaurant and maybe start off with an order of the Filipino noodles dish called “pancit” and the Filipino egg rolls called “lumpia”. The restaurant is in downtown Lake Worth and near the beach too which is awesome- if you’re out in the sun all day in downtown or at the beach, this place is great to get dessert, especially their halo-halo (shaved ice with multiple sweets on top, taro ice cream, leche flan, and milk). For all my Filipino-Americans and Latino-Americans in the community, if you’re having a fiesta or quinceanera or some other big get together, you can get roasted lechon here too! The service overall was superb and the owner really made sure we got our food quickly and catered...
Read moreThe Bangus singang is terrible. Service was poor. The Lechon kawali and the crispy pata is so chewy, it's not crispy at all. There fried food are all dried up inside. OMG! This is the worst Filipino food that I have tried in the whole United States. Please be advised don't waste your money and go somewhere else. I ordered Sinigang Bangus it's like boiled fish without any seasoning. Awful! Crispy Pata. Another waste of money. Dried up all the way with a very tough skin.. Ridiculous! Lechon kawali,. OMG! How can you even mess that up. It's even located on the strip with a lot of of tourist and American. My Goodness I hope they don't stop and eat there. They might think that this is real authentic Filipino cuisine. Ohh Lord I hope you change the cook or someone else with the right mind to own this place. I'm not even sure if these other costumer really had anything into eat in that place.. Cause if they really had any type of food in there they should know. Most probably the Positive comments there are either family member of the owner or very good friend to Lie...
