Over Ez's Cafe — Restaurant in Lake Worth Beach

I wanted to like this place. We sat at the breakfast bar. Despite reassurance that she was going to be right with us, the waitress took at least 10 minutes to take our order. The lady behind the counter at the cashier had some mercy and asked us what we wanted to drink, but said, "They don't trust me with taking orders." I got coffee which was olfashionly bland. They acted surprised when my partner asked for tea and said they only have one kind. It then took another 10-15 minutes for the food to arrive. We were not very hungry and just ordered fried eggs, one order sunny side up, one order over hard, both with hash browns. The hashbrowns were good. But the sunny side eggs were brown at the edges (which is not a problem by itself), but the center still had liquid egg white. Meaning that they were prepared in a rush and without care. One expects egg whites to be cooked. Also, observing the guy who cooked the eggs, I noticed that he used some kind of a spatula in the frying pan and then routinely left that spatula on top of the raw egg cartons, on top of the eggs. I don't think that would pass food sanitary tests. Sorry, if you look at my reviews, you notice that they are almost always generously good or, arguably, too positive. But I couldn't do this here and hope this will be addressed by...

It's a relatively small joint nothing fancy which is nice and before I begin, let me say that I AM an animal lover! It's just that when people bring their support pets and they are HUGE you should probably rethink it. Like I said, it's a small joint, tables are pretty close to one another so you really can't get away from it then another person came in with their dog and forget about it, barking galore. I've been in establishments with both support and service animals and never has this happened nor have my allergies ever acted up. Service was slow waitress looked like she didn't want to be there, never once did she come by to ask if we wanted or needed anything else or refills. The biscuits and gravy were mediocre you could really taste the flour, my omelet automatically came with yellow cheese (yuk), wrong potatoes, my husband's burger tasted like a frozen patty. So needless to say it...

It was my mom's and I first time there as we went in it was busy was not noticed or told to wait or acknowledged just stood there so we left decided to give it another chance went back finally found a table in which I went to get was seated an waiting for a server we finally got a server who seemed to have no personality she served us coffee and didn't even smile I told her I wanted equals and she gave me Splenda and few equals We waited and waited for almost an hour for 1 egg and hashbrona and I had 2 eggs and hash browns Barbara came by and was awesome she wasnt even our server the other waitress we had never came back to check on our order or if we needed more coffee don't know the girls name but she was horrible server felt bad for her still tipped her ok I shouldn't have tipped her anything I can do better myself I don't think I'll be back again Farmers girl is still the best...
