Christmas Eve at 7:40 PM I called in a carryout order for my 2 kids and me. The guy who answered the phone was lacking in customer service skills to say the least. Not at any point during the call did he confirm my name, number, or when my order would be ready for pick up furthermore he hung up on me when I attempted to ask the time I could pick up our pizza. At 7:45 PM I called back to obtain the aforementioned timeframe when I spoke with a female who explained my name and number were taken from my caller ID; she even corrected the guy I spoke with while on the phone with me, and apologized to me explaining he is new. Before ending the call I inquired on when I could pick up our dinner; she initially quoted me 25 minutes, and then changed to 15-20 minutes. At the time I was literally within a mile of the store, but having a few minutes to wait I stopped at a gas station before heading over there. When I arrived I found the store to have all the lights off. A delivery driver was walking towards me while I was standing outside, and he said "we're closed" to which I replied "I'm just picking up a carryout order I called in". He didn't say another word, only opened the door, walked in pulling the door behind him. As I stood there in the cold knocking on the window I could see 2 male and 1 female employee talking, looking at me, and doing what might have been some of their closing duties. I continued to knock in an attempt to gain someone's attention however it was not successful. The driver mentioned previously grabbed another order, walked out with it, and allowed me to step in the store. When I was in the door I told the staff I was there to pick up an order I called in. The male staff member there informed me that they were closed, and when I tried explaining once again that I was just picking up an order he threatened to call the police on me. I responded with "are you being serious?" He repeated himself, and while I really just wanted to get dinner for my kids and me I turned around and walked out. This guy walks out saying "I'm going to get the cop in the squad car around the corner" I replied with "for what reason? I'm not in your store and I'm walking to my car". He walked towards the end of the building, I walked to my car, and then he turned around to walk back while saying "merry Christmas" in the most rude and sarcastic manner possible.
All of this could have been avoided if I wasn't told to pick up my order after their store was closed. Seriously, at 7:45 I was told 20 minutes not knowing they were closing at 8:00. I worked all day too, my kids were at home expecting me to walk in with dominos pizza. Thanks for being a jerk to a disabled veteran on...
Read moreThis place deserves no stars . I wrote a letter to the corporate office and I left a complaint with the BBB . I placed my order online and hour later the tracker still says prepare and the person name that is preparing my food. I called the store to be told the site is down , the manager is very rude as well as the staff . The manager had the nerve to tell me it is a franchise store and I should know my history on franchise stores , his store has nothing to do with the website he can not control the website nor could he update the phone message to let customers know there is a issue and apologize for the inconvenience. I guess he felt insulted when I asked what’s next he refuse to give a refund because I said why there isn’t a message to advise customers there is a delay and brief explanation . My card was charged and I did not receive any pizza. He than proceeded to tell me he has 7 deliveries and it’s now 12:06 and he is not putting anymore pizzas in the oven and if I was not rude he would of returned my money. I sent a copy of all the reviews to the corporate store not only is that theft but this store needs to be shutdown or they need to rehire everyone. I gave a tip on my card this is exactly why some people do not tip or they put cash . This is the worst place to order from , this isn’t the first time however it will be the last and I will make sure the owner and the staff that answered that call remember that moment I’m taking this all the way to the top . I am a customer and the customer is who keeps them in business. They really should be shut down . I am a registered nurse and I’m on the frontline with many people , I come across all walks of live and I respect my patients and anyone I come across if you can not work with the public do not take a job with the public and to the girl who answered the phone when I called back to ask for the manager and told me I will never get a refund , I really hope you have another job and dominos is your second job at this point I’m making sure you get fired first . Oh FYI my CFO at my hospital is making sure the letters get to the right people . This store do not deserve any ratings and the fact that we are in a pandemic and people are still spending shows no care from the manager or the staff. Pizza Hut made sure our pizza were delivered on time and their customer service way better , They probably were trained better but t starts from the top . Not only did they applies for dominos poor service , they provided me with a number to call to make a complaint. Do not order from this location . You...
Read moreThis was the most disappointing pizza I have ever had and the manager should be HIGHLY ashamed that one of his team members put this product together. I ordered a 10 inch gluten free (medical, not trendy choice with four toppings, one being extra mushrooms that we paid for. It contained six mushroom pieces; one for each slice and we paid for extra mushrooms, which means it should almost be drowning in mushrooms. There was 8 pepperoni, FOUR pieces of pineapple and a few black olives. A few bites in we realized it had zero onions on it….a topping we paid for. Someone needs to own this poorly made, burned pizza that cost $15. It was so burnt and tough, that I had to scrape the toppings off and eat them. I know it’s tough to find good help, but the manager on duty should at least take a glance, and coach his team, on the expectations. Order date was January 28 and order time was 6 pm. Domino’s of Lake Worth, you are a 100% disappointment.
UPDATE: the very same day I entered this review, I received a response to email for action. I did email and NOTHING, after several days of waiting. Again, the customer service is horrible. Below you can see the canned response I got and it’s also visible on other poor reviews. Anyone can copy and paste but a good Manager/Owner would actually reply. I am curious if anyone else got a sincere and responsible reply to their...
