I would never want to come back after my experience today. Let me begin by saying, last week I went for the first time and it was delicious, the service was friendly and the atmosphere felt cozy. The next day I had my boyfriend go pick up another box of doughnuts. Then today, I went to get 2 boxes for my family whom I was visiting for the holidays. I drove far out of my way to go there and support this business, a new favorite of mine. I had a rough day, but when I walked in the door I felt a moment of joy, until I was given such unfriendly service! From the moment I began ordering, the female employee behind the counter seemed annoyed and unhappy to be there. I was the ONLY one in the bakery at the time. What happened next was appalling. I told her Iām excited to try their milkshakes someday since they offer non-dairy, but today I chose a hot drink. She quickly rang me up and went to make it. I intervened to make sure it was non-dairy, she said she was already pouring regular milk and continued making the drink. I let her know I donāt drink dairy, but she didnāt seem to care, so I took the drink rather than make a fuss. I go to coffee shops all the time and have not been treated with such a cold manner. A moment later I put the drink back on the counter, apologized that I just cannot drink dairy. In which she said non-dairy milk costs more. I said thatās fine, and pulled out my wallet to pay the difference. She rang me up full-price for a new drink. I was confused and asked why I have to pay for a new drink? She said āthe drink wasnāt made wrong so sheās not exchanging itā. I told her dairy makes my stomach hurt and I couldnāt drink it, why would I need to pay twice? She told me with a cold face that she WILL NOT exchange it. I was also tipping her. I was shocked. More customers walked in and the other employee Kylie was helping them, but she noticed what was happening. Kylie came right away and changed the whole experience! To make it clear, I give 5 STARS TO KYLIE.. and gratitude. She told the unnamed female to simply exchange the drink for me, and the employee argued with her in front of me, saying she WOULDNāT do it because she already told me NO. Kylie took over and quickly handled it as she reassured that itās no problem and actually was so warm and caring, she made me a new drink with coconut milk, without charging me twice, and made sure everything was great. Kylie treated me as family and turned the mood around. Sadly because of the first interaction today, itās not somewhere Iād be comfortable...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the third time I've been there and the first time dined in. Every time I've been there I felt that, even though we like their food, their customer service is not the best. The first two times I didn't want to leave a review, but after today's visit I decided to do it hoping they can see improve. We went there to have breakfast, when we were placing our order we told the young lady that was taking our order that we were dining in, I am not sure if she forgot or did not hear us, but she went ahead and put our pastries in a bag. We told her again that we were dining in and she then she asked: "oh, so do you want a plate?" (the customer needs to let them know if is a to go order or dining in because they don't even ask you); we told that, yes, we needed a plate for our pastries, after that we went to find a table and waited for the rest of our food and lattes, remember, it was a "dine in" order. They brought our food in a paper bag and just put it on our table, obviously they forgot, again, that our order was to dine in. While the three young ladies were there just talking about what was going on in their lives, we were still waiting for our lattes, but evidently they forgot that part of our order, I finally got up and asked if they have them ready. The young lady in charge of making them was not aware of having a pending order because no one told her, at least is what we heard her say to another coworker. She made them in a hurry and they were not even hot, they were just lukewarm and, once more, they forgot or did not care that we were dining in and just gave us our, almost cold, lattes in a paper cup. When we finished eating I asked one the three young ladies if they provide plates when you dine in or if they just give the orders in a paper bag. She explain to me that when dining in they use their tableware and not paper cups or bags. I also let her know that we were not very please with their customer service and she was very nice. Of the three young ladies there, she is the only one who is nice, the other two, Landry and the blond girl need to be nicer. We also wanted to take a few pastries to go and Landry H was who took our order, and as I said before, she is NOT nice, she needs to work on her manners and customer services skills. We really like the food you serve, but customer services should be as good, or better, as your product/service. And that is why I am giving this business two...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow... really bad experience here. Would not recommend this location. They have an extremely rude employee named Michael. I cannot believe he is working in customer service because he was very rude to both my husband and I both times when we went. He is one who answers the phone and it's like he is trying to deter people from coming with his attitude. When my husband called in asking for a donut yesterday, Michael continually sighed and had attitude and was extremely rude. Also, each time we have called Michael has said there are no donuts in the back and after we asked more questions he angrily went to check BOTH times and magically donuts appeared. It is very obvious he is trying to hide donuts in the back for himself for when he gets off shift. When I arrived he actually told me I was lucky to get the two donuts I got ... I guess he was hoarding for himself and decided to give them to us even though that is his job. He also stared at us rudely when we walked in and didn't even say hi.
If I were the owner of this franchise I would want to know if a person like Michael was working there so I could immediately get things fixed. 100% would advise you go to a different location if you want parlor doughnuts. It's a shame that one person can sabotage and experience ... and he always seems to be working...
