Do not order delivery unless you want to be harassed about a tip, even if you already gave them a tip. We ordered $20 worth of food and added an additional $6 tip with a note asking the driver to drop off the food and not ring the doorbell or anything because our dog is not a fan of other people. Easy enough, right? Nah. Our driver, Carlos, dropped off the food right as my brother was pulling in the driveway, and before getting in his car to leave, he felt the need to go bang on my brothers window and tell him to call me and ask if I’m going to tip in cash or on my card (I had already tipped when placing the order). My brother was very surprised by this so he just told the driver he didn’t have my number. So the driver got in his car and proceeded to spam call me off his phone, while my dog is going crazy, because again, HE DOES NOT LIKE STRANGERS. He calls off the dominos number 4 times and then calls off his personal number too. So I finally answer to get him to go away. And the first thing he says is “How are you planning on tipping me?”. We called the store after this and asked to speak to the manager. Jair told us he was the manager, so we explained the situation, to which he was very dismissive and made excuses for the driver like, “he was just trying to notify you that the order had arrived.” Even though we already got text and email alerts telling us it had arrived. And that “he just needed to know how we were going to tip so he could close out the order.” This obviously did not resolve anything and he could tell we weren’t happy with his responses, so he goes “I don’t know what you want me to do.” Train your employees and managers that harassing people for money is not...
Read moreNot even sure why I bothered trying this place again. Last time I ordered from them (1 year ago) the pizza took two hours to get here. Decided to give it a try again tonight. This time it arrived soon enough. But the delivery driver forgot to give us the sauces we ordered and paid for. So I call the store a minute after the driver left thinking they could just call him And have him swing back by with the sauces. I’m told it will take ONE HOUR before he can come back because they are so busy. Seriously! Apparently it’s more important to service other customers before they correct a mistake they made. Then I was told, “I’ll just credit you the cost on your next order.” They offered that so fast I’m guessing this happens quite often there. After going back and forth with this genius on the phone, I give in and agree to just take the credit. I ask what info he needs to apply it to my card/account. He says, “I have it right here on my screen. It’s all set.” So I ask him the amount of the credit. And he says, “Wait, what did you order again?” How the heck is he giving me an accurate credit when he doesn’t even know what I ordered?!?! I order from Domino’s because the pizza is decent and the online ordering is easy. But this local store screws things up every time. If you’re in their delivery area, do yourself a favor and order from Pizza Factory about 1000 ft down the road. They’re much...
Read moreI'm a huge fan of Domino's Pizza, let me tell you. I've had great experiences with this particular chain ever since I saw their, "$4.99 Medium 1-Topping Pizza" Banner on the side of the road and pulled a U-Turn just to get one. Since then, the location's been on my drive home so I would stop in, drop $5.00 and some change and come home with a half-eaten pizza - yeah, who can help but eat a couple slices on the way?!
The service is great and the staff is very cheerful. They greet you as soon as you walk in and on the way out as well. This particular chain had a loyalties punch-card where they would initial or punch your card for every purchase you made. If you made 5 or so purchases, you'd earn a free side or appetizer - a very cool idea.
Up until more recently, I called to place an order for my regular $5.00 pizza, but I was greeted with the bad news that it's, "not a promotion they're doing anymore." What's up with that Domino's? C'mon, that was the best deal around!
Either way, the food's great and the service is equally great. I just wished that they didn't hook me on such an awesome steal on inexpensive lunch and then yank it out from under me when my ride home pizza craving kicked in. Domino's, if you read this - I want my...
