Attn all my fellow Gammies: When looking for presents for your grandkiddies, and if you're like me, stop giving them your husband's old cologne (they should learn to shower more often!), Please no books (they have a library card!). And we are all definitely out of touch as to what is "hip" to wear (so no clothes!). I will give you the best advice to make you the cool Gammie. Go to MINT MEMORABILIA in Lake Zurich which is just a few feet down from Walmart. Here is the best part. I am not very informed as to what is popular, but the staff there is and they are all so very helpful, and patient. Just tell them a little about your grandchild, i.e. their hobbies, interests, favorite sport, favorite team, and/or favorite collection. They asked me how much I wanted to spend (I thought this was a really helpful question) and bingo, they quickly displayed five suggestions on top the display case. I just bought a birthday present for my grandson there (an autographed trading card of a super soccer player) after I stumbled upon the store before going into Walmart. My only regret is I didn't buy another of their suggestions (a football helmet) for a Christmas present because my grandson said I wasn't just a cool Gammie. He said I was the BEST Gammie in the whole world! Thank you, Mint Memorabilia. You...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWow! What an incredible experience we just had at Mint Memorabilia. I just went with my three young boys and we just had the best experience. The guys working there were incredibly friendly, helpful, and professional. The store is clean and has a great set up to it.
My oldest-8 years old- went in with some birthday money ready to buy some new football cards. As he and his brothers looked around, we were never rushed- simply told if we had questions or need help, just ask.
Then, on top of an already great experience extra cards were thrown in for my all of boys (even the two year old got some!) by the super generous guy working there to help their collections take off. Unbelievable how kind that was-each of their days were completely made and we all walked out with the biggest smiles on our faces from their kindness and our great experience at Mint Memorabilia.
We will be back-I will from here on out go there to buy packs or individual cards for my boys as well as for birthday parties as it seems like most of his friends too are into trading cards these days.
Definitely worth stopping by and experiencing Mint Memorabilia for yourself if you have anything sports related to buy (or Pokemon)-it is a fantastic store, you will not be...

Update! Spoke with the shop again 5/10/25 Provided all the information they needed to send 3 PSA slabs to me. Was updated on information regarding the rest of the submissions. I was told I would receive an email with tracking and get it out. Its 5/16/25 no email and know response from contact email on the site. Sent message asking about all this 5/15/25 to the site contact us link. I've been beyond patient. Come on guys!
Bought into breaks on fanatics and my last 4 orders had damaged and unprotected cards. Have reached out via email and spoke with Garrett. I was assured they would make it right and send something my way. Nothing! I also have 4 PSA & 1 Beckett submissions that were sent in November 2024. They claim Beckett is not responding to them. And the PSA excuse is always. "They should be here by next week." Or that they will call you when they arrive. Which hasn't happened. I'm not the only customer in this same situation. I gave this shop a chance based on a recommendation. Unfortunately the service in which they claim to provide is not there. Especially for...
