Charleys Cheesesteaks — Restaurant in Lakeland

First time visiting this location..I ordered a large cheese steak and a large coke..$15.99. I don't mind spending the money if the food is great However...when I opened the food to eat. I noticed it had a strange smell..I thought it was the huge pieces of bell peppers on the sandwich at first..I took a bite and something didn't small right to me again..I ate a few more bites because I hadn't ate any food since breakfast and I was so hungry..I decided to put the sandwich away..as hungry as I was..something just was right with the food...Make a long story short...I currently have had diarrhea and nausea ever since...I normally do not leave reviews or ask for my money back ever..Im just not that kind of person but I felt the need to leave this review so someone else doesn't get sick as I feel...maybe it wasn't the actual food that got me sick maybe it was the someone handling the food in the restaurant..either way...I will never again spend my money here and if anyone ever asks me my opinion on the absolute worst place to eat I will have to say Charleys...Be careful ordering food from places..you have no idea the cleanliness in the kitchen or the people handling the food...extremely...

So, about a week ago I went to Charley's, using the drive-through for the first time. I had seen the place and had been wanting to try it because it looked good. That first order was not right, both of our sandwiches were not made correctly. So, I came home and I wrote an email to corporate. Within a couple days John, the manager, reached out to me about it. He offered to make up for the mistakes. Tonight, I went back to Charley's and spoke with John and reordered pretty much the same things we had gotten the week prior. The food is really good! The cheese steak sandwiches, french fries, cheese fries...all of it was really tasty. Our order was perfect this time and everyone enjoyed their meal. A big "Thanks" to John for reaching out to me so quickly and offering a solution. I can't tell you how many times businesses just ignore negative feedback. I think John genuinely cares about his customers and...

As soon as I walked in Charley's Smelt very clean and looked sharp for the interior!. The Manager immediately greeted us and was super Friendly! . Asked if it was our first time here and it was!!!.

He immediately recommended me to the New peppercorn A-1 sandwich (as you see in the picture!) Which was very good and different!!. You definitely get alot meat in your sub which I like so the sandwiches here will get you full!!.

The cheese bacon fries were okay! I love cheese and bacon don't get me wrong but this had too much cheese for me to handle..thus I couldn't finish them. But if your a cheese lover..then this is for you!!.

Overall I enjoyed Charley's great service ,good atmosphere and big subs to get you stuffed!!! Not too expensive especially for what you get!!!
