I had a profoundly disappointing experience at H&M on 4-15-24. As an African-American man, I entered the store before closing time and attempted to make a purchase. Despite being within operating hours, I was told by an associate, under the instruction of their manager, that I couldn't buy anything and had to leave it on hold. What made matters worse was witnessing a white woman receiving service at the counter while I was denied assistance. When I questioned the fairness of this treatment, instead of addressing my concerns, the supervisor “Makiah” called security “Sunny” to have me and my friend forcibly removed from the store. This behavior is not only discriminatory but also deeply troubling. I immediately contacted the corporate office to file a complaint, only to be met with further disrespect from the manager, who refused to provide her name, a basic courtesy in retail. This incident reflects poorly on the management and leadership of this store. Discrimination has no place in any establishment, and I urge H&M to take swift and decisive action to address this issue and ensure that all customers are treated with dignity and respect. No one should have to endure such treatment in a retail environment. I sincerely hope that H&M takes this matter seriously and takes appropriate steps to rectify it, including addressing the behavior of the individuals involved and implementing measures to prevent such incidents from happening...
Read moreToday was the second time I've gone shopping here, and both times have been an awesome experience! Everyone that works here are always so kind and eager to help you, it is definitely a different experience from what I'm used to at this mall. From the prices, to the clothing, to the employees, this store is doing EVERYTHING right!! I would also like to express how much my family and I appreciated Charlie! If I got his name wrong, I apologize! My sleep deprivation from my 3 kids gives me a TERRIBLE memory for names!! But, I'm pretty sure his name is Charlie. He was at the men's register and had blue hair.
He was so kind and pleasant, nothing but smiles! He even was so kind to explain how their recycling program works. I never knew they recycled clothing, I also didn't know that some of their clothing are made of what they recycled! Pretty cool! But, he informed us that we can bring in clothes, it doesn't matter if they're stained or anything, they gladly take them! It needed to be a minimum of 3 articles of clothing and a maximum of 2 bags per day, and you would earn 15% off of your purchase! Thank you Charlie for all of your help today and for your cheerful demeanor!

Read moreI went to H&M, hating to buy online knowing that these stores can be sneaky, and tried some clothes on. We took photos, double checked everything and left. The next day, I went online and bought the EXACT SAME item; same size, same style. But when it finally arrived and I tried it on it DID NOT fit. We decided to go exchange the EXACT SAME items for a larger size and… did you know what happened? THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME AN EXCHANGE. I bough what I bought with DISCOUNTS and they DID NOT honor those. They wanted me to buy everything from scratch. Are you kidding me? It was H&M’s sizing error and I have to pay the price?
If you’re going to buy from these people beware, as you have to be perfect with what you buy/bought.
Another thing that happened is that they took FOREVER to bring me that package. I had to make 2 purchases because they suddenly were out of stock for one of the items I ordered. I made the second order and that package arrived faster than the first. These people are really disappointing. I’m never coming back to an H&M.
