What a joke. First off ill call myself out here, yes I was in the lobby without a mask, however the lady who told me about the mask policy was extremely rude. There is a huge difference between , to be in the lobby you must be wearing a mask vs "guys we have TWO signs up that state you must have a mask on to be in here in front of the entire lobby", i got my mask no problem, mistake number one bdubs. The lady behind the desk answering the phones. Extremely rude, I watched her pick up the phone approximately 15-20 times and hang up on the multiple lines flashing, unfortunately there seems to be no policy set in place where all your associates would have at minimum a name badge identifying who they are, or managers who truly manage them! MISTAKE number 2, losing business in such a crucial time that is literally make or break right now. Final straw that broke the camels back, we were told for a party of five, 15-20 minute wait. Low and behold almost an hour later another party of five that came in about 20 minutes after us, was seated before us. When asked why we were not seated, magically we were no longer on the list. I asked for the manager which showed no care except for I apologize,, the best we can do is sit you next. Maybe you should have told the other party they sat instead of pissing me off that they had to get up because we were before them. I have never felt so disrespected in my life. I have already sent a corporate request, however I have a feeling if thats ran anything like the restaurant itself, it will fall of blind eyes and deaf ears.
10/7/2020 - UPDATE- if you have a bad experience, you'll only get an automated email response. Unreal - see below.

Curious as to what "addressing this with the location" would consist of. For those who don't know, Hooters has great food/wings also , and its practically right next door. Never had a bad experience there.. I would have at least expected to speak with someone regarding this bad experience and then I would have never edited this. If I had spoken to someone, more than likely I would have probably changed my...
Read moreThe wings were good. That’s unfortunately the only positive about this.
Their computers went down after the waitress took our drink order, so the hostess was going around letting everyone know that it would take a bit for everyone to get their food and cash out. She mentioned they were going to still take orders and that someone would be around soon, so someone in my group politely asked her how long that would take, and the hostess responded with “how should I know.” Of course, this warranted a reaction from the entire group. The hostess noticed our shocked looks at each other, and attempted to back track and play it off by saying “I know it sounds rude, but I don’t know when the computers will come back on” which wasn’t what the person had asked.
Eventually, the computers came back on, and the waitress came and took our orders. We thought everything would run smoothly then. Wrong. We all ordered dips with our wings. Finished our entire meal without them because they were never brought out. Utensils and napkins weren't brought out until someone in our party stopped another waitress to ask for them since he had ordered Mac and cheese. Someone is our party ordered strawberry lemonade. Never got it. A woman from the bar walked to the table next to us and asked them if they had ordered it and they said no and then, she walked by ours and asked us and we said yes, but because they had messed up several things at this point, I made sure to ask her if the drink was virgin, since our friend had specified no alcohol, and this somehow bothered the woman. She put her hand up to us and said hold on, and walked away. We could see her arguing with our waitress. We ordered fries, didn’t get them until we got our receipts. At this point-we were ready to leave because of the terrible service, but of course the receipts were messed up.
While we understand that they had no control over the computers going down, there was no reason for attitude. I truly feel bad for the waitress because she just seemed stressed, and she was trying her best, but again, the attitude was unnecessary, especially because none of us were giving anyone a hard time.
Moral of the story, if you want wings in Lakeland, go anywhere BUT...
Read moreI normally love this location and any complaints I have are few and far between. Tonight on the other hand was the worst experience my husband and I have ever had. Durning our meal the server completely forgot the waters we ordered (as we had a beer with our wings). We let that slide and we’re just going to continue with our meal. Then the power went out completely for about 30-45 seconds. Completely understood that it’s not their fault HOWEVER here is also where they dropped the ball. One of the two managers on duty, nor did our server ever come around to give us an update. We asked for the check and were told that the systems were coming back up and he’d bring it over as soon as possible. We didn’t leave the establishment until 45 minutes AFTER we asked for the check. And AGAIN it wouldn’t have been an issue & I wouldn't be writing this review if we had gotten an update. My husband had to prompt a COMPLETELY different waitress to provide an update. Not once did ANY of the wait staff or managers come to see if we wanted another drink or anything while we were waiting. And this was not an issue just for us. The table behind us was having the same issue. Their customer service should’ve went into overdrive and at the very least the waiters and waitresses could’ve came around to their tables and told us what was going on if not the managers. I eventually had to take my kids out to the car for them to be more comfortable and they eventually fell asleep as that’s how long we had to wait. Completely unacceptable service or lack thereof received tonight. I strongly suggest your company reevaluate Hunter and Jason’s managerial abilities as they were the managers on duty during this time. Just because your restaurant has a ’hiccup’ in its operation does not mean the patrons should be a second thought. Please improve on your customer service at this location. My family and I frequented this location AT LEAST three times a month if not more and we are very...
