It was typical....I look like a poor dirty white boy, that doesn't look as though I have enough to tip or what have you... when that is far from the case. I have been known to tip more than the whole bill good quality service by a server. I let them choose their own fate but conducting social experiments, just for my own amusement. But it's really discouraging sometimes when you get to see how people really are. This trip fell right into that stereotypical category. I literally walked in set right in front of the bartender, in front of the beer dispensers mind you, money ready to go the old bar room gesture for I'm ready for a drink. I think it took about 15 to 20 minutes trout ever even acknowledged and I'm not a hard one to see seeing as how I'm dressed in high visibility and out there like a sore thumb. I have complications when I get to order my usual drink they don't have simple syrup. And it seems that taking the time to heat some water up and put a sugar packet in it it's too much to ask for. So I get a lowball glass tap water sugar packet gin and the last of the limes that they had. Well it wasn't the last of the lines it was just the last limes on that side of the bar. That drink goes down quickly I do with the other old bar room gesture for I would like another drink and push my glass to the end of the bar. Oh and I forgot to mention the stir straws and the the two extra sugar packets I was given, well tossed at me down into the puddle of water on the bar. Quickly drew the attention of the security guy which insisted on shoving his hand in my personal space together up said sugar packets mixing straws 3 minutes after they were given to me and they were unused. I said" hey I'm still going to need those " is that all she need to clean up whatever he thought he had to clean up in front underneath my drink and threw them back down. Again I go by the wayside as Hey Bartender precedes to help several other people that were behind me in the drink waiting line per se, and I forgot to mention they did muster up a menu so I can order not one but two of the most expensive items that had on the menu which would be the rack of ribs and chicken combo. Another side note I do regularly go to this place generally a different hours and I did my regular server bartender and all I have to do is walk in she sees me and it has my drink ready by the time I sit down doesn't give me a hard time always make sure my glasses. Make is full as well take time to be cordial, doesn't overdo the" honey"" sweetie" xcetera xcetera. She does this because she knows that I take care the people that take care of me. If she does this without prejudice or stereotype. Now granite I don't look like your typical Lakevillian. On a side note I should have suspected nothing less when I'm past if I want to pay by drink or start a tab so I just started Tab and they take my credit card which I think I might have had to do that a total of 3 * ever in my entire life out of all the places that I go. I was getting treated as though they were getting ready to close and they were really just getting started. On any day of the week I would normally give this place a 5-star review turn on this day I was so disappointed that I'm going to have to give him 2 Stars. I know what you are thinking, they didn't get their tip, but oh contraire my bill is $57 I left a hundred dollar bill. Hint hint remember what I said about sexual...
Read moreI'm going to very blunt and honest. I went to Babe Bar Friday night to grab a bit to eat and drink's. I arrived a little before 9:00 P.M. Bar had no visible seat to sit down to eat a meal. I order a drink from bar, paid cash for drink. Walked towards front door to locate a waiter or waitress. I was able to locate a waiter. I asked to be seated at table to order food. Waiter located a table, Was very respectable and polite waiter. I waiting for 20 minutes to get menu. Father and Daughter next to me were paying there bill. I asked waitress who is handling these tables and even one I was sitting at. waitress responded she has whole area, I said ok, I didn't asked for menu at that time. I was polite, due to fact it was busy in dinning area. Waiter that originally sat me at table came back and asked if I wanted a menu. I got a menu 35 minutes after originally be seated at table. Waiter asked me if I wanted to order anything. I said waitress was going to take my order, I looked around and decided to order, I just said ok, I'll take appetizer. I was sitting at table watching band. I noticed a guy come up to me in a very aggressive manner. Informed me that he wasn't able to transfer tabs from one waiter or waitress. I never started a tab I was sitting waiting to order food. I got my order. I told waiter, I'm sorry I didn't mean to cause any issues or problems. I told waiter that his night manager or shift lead was very rude and acting very grossly unprofessional.... I was so upset, I could even eat or drink anymore, basically ruined my night. I looked over my shoulder and a bouncer was behind me and looked straight ahead a notice manager talking with bouncer at front door. I knew are least had a idea what was coming. Waiting for bouncer to arrive with manager. Manager told me he wasn't going to take my comments. I requested a box and bill. I grabbed food and informed bouncer I'm leaving peacefully. I wasn't going to give manager that satisfaction to make a scene. I have been eating and drink at babes on a daily basis. no more....

Read moreFirst edit: I didn't leave a written review but a 3-star, because my review in the past seems magically disappeared on here and on their social media pages and the owner responsed hoping I'll have a 5-star next time. A Lakeville resident for almost 6 years and nothing has changed. They refuse to turn on closed captions every time we ask. The bingo ball was too small to catch in dimmed lights and shaky hands of a bingo caller's and on the phone all the time, and we suggested having it on TV screens, I never saw it. A couple of times, a shift manager/owner heated "arguing" with us about me speaking up for the ADA rights because we wanted a table close to the caller. We had to leave skipping bingo night disgusted. The bartenders like to flirt with customers (tried on their hat and modeled) while I waited to order my drinks for 10 minutes (and many more minutes on every visit). Oh, at around same time waiting for my order, two same bartenders walked pass me several times and taking their orders over me, whispered to each other then they told me they stop serving at 11:30pm and continued making drinks for other customers that made me question if I've died and became a ghost. It was in December 2021. That was one of my final straws, I've seen too much here.
The only best things there is the manager, Katie M. on Wednesdays and Fridays, the darts, pull tabs, the nachos, and a cute customer. The rest... I'll leave it be.
Yes, we are their Deaf customers who are buried in the back of the crowd.
How's 5-star for that next time?
Second edit: Still all right. Nobody knows how to turn on closed captioning and wouldn't let me...
