Visited on a Saturday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. We were told it would be up to an hour and a half wait so we put our name on the list and drove over to a brewery a half a mile away. We hadn't even sat down for a beer yet and we got the text that the table was open so not a great start on the logistics of getting a table. Our server, Derek, was very friendly and attentive but clearly overworked and did not have the time to give you a true speakeasy experience. We started with an old fashioned and an espresso martini which both were nice. We also ordered an appetizer of the dip and chips which were relatively flavorless and the bread was quite off. It sufficed as a good snack for $10. As far as the atmosphere, it was not a speakeasy vibe at all. The music was way too loud and required people in large groups to basically yell at each other over the music. The lighting was also way too high. The best part of the experience was walking through the gas station and the soda can wall but you can just do that and then go somewhere else for a far better eating and drinking experience. This is definitely out in the suburbs and rated way too high.

This is a fun surprise and a must stop for anyone, well maybe not kids. The place is very cool and a nice break from many other restaurnats. The people were nice amd attentive. We had a party of two on a quiet Thursday night (first NFL game so maybe that is why). The drinks were well done. The food, so so. I ordered a charcuterie tray - the smoked cheese is good, the parm had to mich rind and the mozzerella was dynomite. The meats were so so. One piece was a dried out slice, seemed like it wasn't fully sealed and got hard in the air. The pickels - garbage. Ick. My wife got brussel sprouts that were really good. She also ordered french fries and they looked limp and gross. I didn't try them. The food selection is very slim, not much to choose from. Given the reduced menu I would expect a perfect product.

Farmer’s Cellar is such a hidden gem, a great speakeasy vibe that mixes charm, mystery, and class. From the outside, you’d never expect what’s waiting inside. Once you step through, you’re greeted with a cozy, moody space filled with chandeliers, dark leather seating, and quirky details like a silver bathtub, taxidermy, and candle wax-draped candelabras that set the perfect atmosphere. The bar program here is excellent. Cocktails are crafted with care, balanced, and beautifully presented my Old Fashioned was spot-on with just the right amount of depth and smoothness. The space itself feels like a step back in time, with a mix of vintage glamour and rustic details that make it feel warm and inviting. Farmer’s Cellar is a must-visit

We ordered the charcuterie board (meat portion was a little skimpy for $20, but overall delicious with 3 different cheeses) brisket burger (came room temperature with cold fries, but I’ll admit the flavors were so good with the tomato jam and brisket with bacon that I demolished it before I could complain or ask to reheat) Detroit style pizza (piping hot and pillowy perfection)

Drinks were incredible, I will definitely be coming back for the misty mountain hop! Host and Waitstaff were really friendly and welcoming. It was definitely extremely busy and we had to wait for about 45 min before being seated but the wait went by fast checking out the surprisingly extremely functional gas station.

It does seem like timing isn’t quite synced for the whole experience, we waited at least 10/15 minutes to be asked for drinks or introduced to our server. and for over $100 I’d expect my entree to be the right temperature, but I can’t really complain since I ate the entire burger within minutes.

I definitely am coming back for more and recommending to friends, and hoping I can come back edit for the...

The Farmers Cellar is a nice little hidden gem, in Lakeville, to say the least!

It is a nice speak easy with plenty of seating (tables and booths). Does give a nice speak easy feel with the lighting ambiance and decor.

My experience will only get better (5 star next time) when they work out some kinks such as having enough servers/bartenders on a Monday night. The music was simply too loud and didn’t give the speak easy vibe that one might expect. I sat in a booth and literally had to yell at my friends for conversation. When ask how every thing was I did mention the volume of music being extremely loud they did turn it down. Was it enough - no but I appreciated the effort greatly!

Ordered the following: BLT Sliders - good but you need to eat straight away as the pork became too chewy when it cooled, Pork Belly - very good, beet and Burrata salad - very good and the charcuterie board bountiful! All plates were share amongst four women.

Because it is a speak easy the drinks were outstanding and well worth the money!

Overall, I look forward to being a frequent flyer...
